I want to Thank Mr. Rizvi and his professional staff for helping to walk me through the intricacies of Patent/Trademark Law. Without their guidance and support my company and product would not have become a reality. They were extremely understanding of what I needed to protect my ideas on both a national (Patent) and international stage (Trademark). As a matter of fact, my product has just been picked up for large scale distribution. I look forward to working with them again for my next project.

We recently had the opportunity to listen to a talk by John Rizvi at an Inventors Society meeting in Florida. His depth of knowledge and experience with regard to patenting, copywriting and trademarks was really impressive and he was so easy and amenable to talk to.

After making a prototype of my invention for myself, I decided I wanted to manufacture and sell it. I patented my invention 1) because I didn’t want anyone to copy it and 2) I didn’t want cheap copies that didn’t work to show up on the market. After 14 years in production I have found that yes, people want to copy it and yes, the copies are cheap and poorly functioning. So far, a nice letter to the individuals has stopped the copying but if the time comes that someone wants to challenge the patent then the patent better be able to stand up in court. That is why I highly recommend John Rizvi, The Patent Professor. He understands the legalities and how patents should be written. In addition, he was understanding, helpful and patient with all the questions I had going into this. He also went the extra mile to make sure he fully understood my product before writing the patent.
