I have brought up a tough case to almost 20 realestate and forclosure attorney's in the past week to get an advice , Margery Ellen Golant was the ONLY attorney who took time to look at this issue, and answered every issue arising from this difficult matter, even all other attorney turned away from such case.I will definitly recomend her to anyone seeking excelence and dedication to their issue.

If you truly want to save your home from foreclosure, you need Margery Golant on your side. Her wealth of knowledge about the mortgage industry is incredible and she will fight for you with every bit of that knowledge. I do not think we would still be in our home today had it not been for Ms. Golant’s tenacity and the fact that she cares deeply about her clients and their ability to remain in their homes. I cannot put into words how much I admire and appreciate her. I would most highly recommend her.

Many, many nights laying there next to my wife, shaking instead of sleeping. The feeling of abject failure and the loss of so many years of work and dreams. My initial mind set when I got behind on my mortgage was “I didn’t pay and I deserve to get foreclosed”. It certainly is a pretty straight line to that opinion. And you can rest assured that the so called judges in the Foreclosure Court, who are appointed, not elected, by and large believe this is true too. The long process of defending ourselves from the loss of our family home, which was the repository of every bit of our income (beyond consumables) for most of our lives, was an eye opening experience and some hard lessons about the law and in particular lawyers. Lots of lawyers will line up to take your money, and as much of it up front as they can get you to pay. I have more than several acquaintances who paid eight thousand, ten thousand dollar retainers. This was quickly burned up on ticky tack back and forth with the bank/servicer and then they lost their homes. One leader in my scout troop found out she was going to auction 7 days before it happened and her family of 5 had to move in with her mother in law. I’m here to tell you what you need is a Knight. On a Crusade. And that is who Margery Golant is to her clients. When she says: “I am personally disturbed to see consumers being taken advantage of…” she really means it and I have seen it many times in our long and SUCCESSFUL battle to not be foreclosed. Ms Golant had 3 judges disqualified from our case for public comments they had made that clearly showed the bias so prevalent in Foreclosure Court. She had our case removed from the Foreclosure division and put in Civil, where the judges answer to the voters, and care that the decisions they make are legally valid. She had the Service of the foreclosure thrown out 6 times. She fought a brilliant war of counter tactics and strategy that went on for well over 9 years. It seems crazy looking at it written here. Meanwhile my kids grew up in their home and thrived. Words can’t express our gratitude and if you are in this terrible situation, believe a survivor that this is your best choice for representation.

I immediately got the sense of no ulterior motive or even alternate thought process coming thru the words I was reading. Just straight honest knowledge. and I just asked a question. Most reviews for people or sites are pure fluff. read a couple of hers right away you know the diff. Thank You Maam

Attorney Golant is a truly dedicated consumer advocate. She really cares about her clients cases, has a deep knowledge of how to use the law to help her clients, and uses it forcefully to protect them against the deep pocket corporations. She understands corporations from the inside, which gives her a tremendous edge. She has helped me greatly, and I recommend her unhesitatingly.

Before I hired Attorney Golant, I spoke to a number of attorneys, none of whom gave me a clear picture of my situation or of a coherent strategy to help me. When I sat down with Attorney Golant, she asked me dozens of questions in order to completely understand all the twists and turns. Then she began explaining in detail what she thought could be done and how it could be done in a way none of the other attorneys did. It was obvious she understands the law and the best strategies to help me. I am so glad and relieved she was willing to take my case.

After she responded to my post on the Avvo site, I verified on the Florida bar website to make sure she was actively practicing law and then I called her office . She was very knowledgeable with my unique situation and gave a full 30 minute consult. At no point did she sound discouraged or eager to hang up like some other attorneys. I could tell that she takes an interest in each case because she was actively searching for answers during the consultation on my deed, mortgage, and county websites. I marked this review anonymous because I'm actively working with my mortgage company on my dispute.

Totally satisfied with her comments/advise in my foreclosure case, that already has a total of 7 and 1/2 years. Even sometimes Is hard to agree with her opinion (Im not a lawyer) law as far as know is also a mater or interpretation not only by the counsel but also by the judges.

I would like to thank Margery for contacting me the same day I had my question and following up the next day as well, she was genuinely concerned about my situation and gave me amazing advise that no other lawyer was able to, she is a very sweet and empathetic professional, if Avvo had an 11 point rating she would get 11+.

I attempted to retain Ms. Golant for my appeal, however, my location was out of her area and regretfully she was unable to assist me. I , of course was very disappointed, since I consider her to be an excellent advocate.

I queried Margery about an issue in a state where she is not licensed to practice. She was very responsive and offered some helpful tips.
