When I received a letter in the mail from the department of revenue stating I owed $14,000 in back child support I knew I needed a lawyer, especially when my divorce records showed a 50/50 custody and neither parent to owe child support! My case was in citrus county but I was living in Tampa. I truly didn't know where or who to turn to. Thanks to good reviews like this one, I chose Steven D. Fichtman and thank God I did. You'd be hard pressed to find a more complicated case than mine. A divorce closed years ago, the department of revenue mysteriously requiring a large sum of money without first finding proof, a former wife not quickly returning paperwork, and me living far away. Yet through all of that Steven was extremely knowledgeable, formed a strong strategy for me, and when it was time went to bat for me in court. The judge (name removed) was quite tough and Steven presented fact after fact and was extremely well prepared. I won the case and without Steven it would have never happened. If you need a lawyer who is extremely knowledgeable, will give you the best fighting chance in court, AND is reasonably priced, please look no further. Steven D. Fichtman is the best choice.
