We have known Meghan for over ten years and watched her educational progress toward a Masters and now a Law degree. Before earning her Law degree from the University of Denver, she was a para legal for many years. It was during this time that she helped a close friend of ours with his divorce on a pro bono basis. He is 100% disabled. He was awarded a Purple Heart for his service during the Viet Nam conflict. His wife had left him and he was concerned that he might be liable for any debt that she incurred so he needed to separate from her to prevent such an eventuality. Meghan stepped in and did all the legal work necessary to affect his divorce. Since becoming an attorney, she assisted our nephew with several questions he had about whether or not to set up an LLC to protect he and his family from a part-time job he was engaged in. We are indebted to Ms. Betz for the professional and courteous manner in which she handled these two situations.

When I first met Meghan, she was doing volunteer work for her community. Meghan, ( at the time of our interactions) not only was a stand-out law student, she was also a seasoned paralegal. Both of which, upon my inquiry, came with numerous acclaim from multiple people that knew Meghan professionally. Stephen Tatum represented me in my case against the City regarding a short term rental. He was very professional, understanding and was readily available as the case was ongoing.
