I would NOT recommend Bill for a divorce attorney. In Dec 2018, he gave me incorrect legal advise regarding the 2019 alimony tax law. I would have waited 3 weeks to file paperwork, after Jan 1, 2019, in order not to have to claim alimony as income and pay tax on it. This past week, my CPA informed me that I do have to claim it as income. Over a four year period, this will end up costing me approximately $17,000. I wouldn't have settled for this if he gave me the correct legal advise. Going through a divorce is heart wrenching enough, and now this.
