I recently applied for Dissolution of Marriage that involved Child Custody in which I wanted 50/50 Timesharing and Shared Responsibility. I initially went with a lawyer that was part of Legal Aid because this was one of the services that my job offered and I would receive a discounted rate. Leading up to the trial I was not confident in the Legal Aid attorney's preparation as we barely talked through phone or email because she was mostly unavailable. During the 1st Time sharing trial my wife's lawyer drilled me and absolutely destroyed my lawyer. It was surprising to me. It looked like it was this Legal Aid Attorney's 1st time at trial and was caught like a deer in headlights. Needless to say I received unreasonable time with my son, they gave me 4 days out of the month. After the trial I decided to look for a lawyer that was proven and was invested in the same outcome I was invested in. I turned to Google and searched and read through reviews until I came across Carmen G. Soto's name but in the reviews Allison Bishow's name was mentioned consistently. They were awesome reviews, enough for me to contact her. The initial consultation was very informative and gave me hope. So I chose her. Leading up to the trial I was extremely nervous, but Allison made sure I was prepared and that she got all the information she needed. Fast forward to court day and now I am back in front of the same lawyer that demolished me and my previous lawyer. But, this time I witnessed what a real lawyer that is focused on fighting for their client looks like. Allison was awesome and showed a skillset that was unmatched. The opposing lawyer this time looked defeated and stuttered often. To be honest it was refreshing. Needless to say with the expertise of Allison and her team (Sara who is AWESOME) I was able to finally get 50/50 time sharing and shared responsibility! Allison was able to grant me something that I was fighting to get for so long which is time with my son and for that I am forever grateful. For years I cried tears of sadness and anger but that day Allison gave me the freedom to cry tears of joy!!!!! Yes, this was a long review, but these reviews helped in my decision making and I hope it will help someone in need just as it did for me.

Absolutely do not regret choosing this team to represent me. From the moment I called in despair, they comforted me and made sure that I was in a safe environment before talking about next steps. Allison Bishow was not just my attorney but a mentor and a friend who helped me through the entire process. This was my first experience working directly with a lawyer and I wish I had their support when I initially divorced. Like others, my case was very unique. I was assigned to Allison Bishow and I trusted that she had my best interest at heart. Every interaction with her and her legal team was professional, respectable, and honest. The pandemic slowed the progress of the case down tremendously (almost two years) due to constant delays but this was out of their control. Ultimately, the case resulted in a favorable outcome for me as expected from the beginning. They must have been from those who have had UNREASONABLE expectations or were unfamiliar with how these proceedings work.**

My mother went through a divorce and their office helped her through this difficult time. Alison is AMAZING.
