I’m Thai and my English is not fluent but I must say this is the best lawyer company. From the first time I called for my divorce, they answered very quickly and they talked very nice and patient. I’ve called and talked with few different companies but non of them make me feel like this is the one. They are very helpful and work fast. Ms. Bishow was such a lovely and wonderful person to work with through a very difficult time in my life and I could not be more grateful with the outcome. Look no further! I went through a VERY nasty divorce where I was accused of doing everything under the sun, emotional abuse, physical abuse, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, you name it, I was accused of everything possible because the mother to my child was trying to get sole custody of our daughter. Additionally, my ex took off to her families home with our daughter and alienated me to where I couldn't see or speak with her. I did my due diligence and search for the right counsel to represent me in this matter. I interviewed with 8 other attorneys and in my search I called the office of Carmen Soto. Immediately I was welcomed on the phone and attended to. My intake interview was with Allison Bishow Esq. I will say that walking in, I was very worried, not because any of the accusations were true but because having to prove a negative in of itself is difficult. After letting Allison know everything that had transpired she reassured me that I was not alone in what I was going through and that unfortunately a lot of others have done the same to their ex partners for selfish reasons. Right from the beginning, Allison was aggressive in defending my rights, filing an emergency order for visitation, refusing to accept offers from my exs counsel that made absolutely no sense or trying to get one over on me. Allison set up visitation so I could see my daughter and worked up a defense to tear apart my exs allegations, piece by piece. She explained every move and the strategic reasoning behind it. For example, I had every right to go to my ex's families house and get my daughter, it was my right, but Allison explain given the situation and false allegations, she wanted to make sure to never put me in a position where additional allegations could be fabricated. Sometimes it felt it was the long way around because of course I was thinking with my emotions but ultimately Allison had a plan and I knew she had the best interest of my daughter and myself in mind and was being precautious. Allison is very passionate about her job, extremely detail oriented and very prepared! We had THREE different Judges who saw our case simply because of how long our case took and at every hearing Allison ran CIRCLES around my ex and her counsel, from debunking the fabricated allegations, getting me 50/50 custody, finances and destroying my ex's "witnesses", bringing to light that my ex was crying about money yet went on a cruise and a trip to Vegas during our divorce. So much so that my ex fired her first counsel and hired another one thanking it would change the outcomes, which it didnt make any difference because Allison was always prepared and looked at everything from every angle possible and did the same to new counsel as well. Allison set realistic expectations from day one and throughout kept me grounded and would let me know if I was perhaps asking for too much or if I was going to be fighting for something that was just completely against the grain of the court. We tried to go through mediation which was pointless as my ex and her counsel walked out after Allison and I simply asked for a fair and equal resolution.. nothing was lopsided at all but my ex felt entitled and wanted ultimate decision making, outrageous alimony and wanted to take our home to herself. So to trial we went. In the days just before the trial, my exs counsel started to message Allison about settling outside of court. Allison stood her ground on our position as we knew I had done nothing wrong and ultimately the morning of the trial they agreed to ALL of our terms, the exact same terms we proposed 9 months previously at mediation.. In my opinion, her counsel knew what was coming for them at trial and wanted no part of it. All in all the entire office was a pleasure to work with, Lourdes, Carmen, Daniela, Sara and of course Allison.. You guys are absolutely amazing! Best Family Law team in South Florida.
