I have used other immigration lawyers for previous needs, and I have to say that Connie Kaplan and her team are nothing short of the best! Choosing this office was the best decision I made during this part of my immigration journey. All of her team was very professional and attentive. In 2018 I was eligible to Adjust Status in the U.S. Friends and Family advised me to Go-It-Alone and simply fill out the USCIS application and pay the filing feels. ***Given the current focus on immigration and the serious nature of the Adjustment process I did not want to take ANY chances by incorrectly filling out the application. I also did not want to run the risk of not submitting the correct documentation or not enough documentation that could help my case. **** I found Connie Kaplan online and browsed her firm's website which I thought was very professional. I then scheduled an in person consultation. *************************************************** After our consultation we decided to move forward with Connie AND it was the BEST decision we could have made. Connie was direct and honest which I appreciated. She outlined the process to Adjust Status and gave us approximate timelines on what documentation we could expect the first few months. She gave detailed instructions on the documents we would need to present AND strengthen our case to USCIS. Connie's willingness to answer many of our questions was VERY comforting to us, And We Had Many!!!!! Connie also set expectations for us ahead of the interview process with USCIS. From the first appointment in her office to the all-important appointment with the Immigration officer, Connie Kaplan has made the best possible impression one could ever imagine during the entire process of adjusting my status. My husband and I have been happy with every detail of what she has done for us throughout. She's now more of a family member, who cares about our welfare, than an attorney. From guiding us on every possible detail of what we should provide, to the records we should maintain, to how our friends could also help us by documenting our relationships, she has literally walked us through seamlessly until the end.
