Randall Haas was not the first criminal defense attorney I have hired in my life. I had, in my younger past, charges that bordered upon very serious and I was reliant on defense counsel that was sometimes barely adequate and sometimes very good, so my opinion of attorneys and their capabilities is not limited to a single experience with one attorney but rather numerous experiences with numerous attorneys. When I retained Mr. Haas it was for a charge that I would face no less than 20 years, if I was convicted. It was a time when I needed the best legal defense that could be found. I interviewed a handful of high power attorneys and went with Randall. It was the best decision I ever made. From the beginning my case was handled with the utmost competence. He had a penetrating understanding of the details of the events that transpired in my case and an expert eye for the law and how it applied to the facts the case. He saw fit to bring in expert witnesses and hire a private investigator. Every aspect of my case had expert eyes focused on my defense with him being the directing strategist. The paralegals and secretaries in his office are second to none, always on the ball, never missing a beat. They handled my requests with professionalism, diligence and put in a lot of time and effort, always going the extra mile for me. In the end I was NOT convicted, righteously. The particulars of my case made this outcome very very difficult. It came down to the outstanding intellectual legal brilliance of Randall and his strategizing. This is what I owe my freedom too. I'm thankful for him and his team getting me this outcome, as I could not afford to lose.
