Made the difficult process of divorce as painless as possible. I selected her because she was the only lawyer during the interview process who listened to my concerns and we could have a two way conversation. Easy to work with and all business when on the clock. Her pricing was fair and she was very flexible regarding payment. She selected an outstanding mediator that helped move the process along quickly.

After interviewing other family lawyers, what helped us select Kristin of course her many years of experience but also, it was her answering questions personally versus going through assistants or other attorneys. Lorenzo Law | Probate Lawyer Jose Lorenzo randomly appeared after a search I conducted on Google trying to contain a probate lawyer after an extremely difficult moment of my life. The passing of my father.. My father left my siblings and I his estate without a will, an extremely difficult, lengthy, and expensive process to obtain ownership of possessions and funds that rightfully belong to the family. My wife and I recently were divorced and have a child in common. My wife is also an attorney and undoubtedly hired Mrs. Padowitz due to her reputation in the family law community. I was pro se during our divorce and saw why she is highly regarded. In the beginning of my divorce, as is the case with most divorces, it was very emotional and contentious. Regardless of how contentious things were, Mrs Padowitz was always professional and treated me with respect while simultaneously being a zealous advocate for her client. As the divorced progressed Mrs. Padowitz and I had multiple interactions both via email and on the phone/video. I can wholeheartedly say that Mrs. Padowitz is not a "fan the flames" attorney seeking to drag litigation out in order to put the squeeze on a client during this difficult time. She was very open to working with me, helped my wife and I find common ground, expeditiously returned my emails and was a gem throughout the process, all while remaining very much my wife's advocate. I know first hand that the attorney you chose during a family matter can be a massive influence on how the litigation process goes. I have seen, personally and professionally, family law attorneys that seem to be more interested in grandstanding and encouraging their client to be as litigious as possible for their own "best interest" This was not my experience with Kristin. Even though she was my wife's attorney at every turn I felt that she was professional, respectful, and prioritized a peaceful resolution over protracted litigation. If you are looking for an attorney that is not only knowledgeable and can pull out the sword, but also one that knows when it's time to keep the sword shaved and use words, look no further. In my opinion Mrs Padowitz walks a very delicate and fine line that many attorneys are unable to do. She is able to be firm and aggressive when needed, but only as needed, as to not increase the proverbial fuel on the fire. She's also easy to work with and is able to put resolution above her on financial gain. Being my wife's attorney you may be questioning why I am writing a review for Mrs Padowitz. It's simple, I appreciate both talent and empathy and she deserves a positive review, even if it comes from the other side of the fence.

Kristin was an amazing lawyer for me. I was in an impossible situation with my previous parenting plan from my previous lawyer who did not care about my case and just wanted it to be done and over quickly. After seeking help to rectify this, I was told by plenty of lawyers that nothing could be changed in my situation but Kristin was the only lawyer who really pulled through and got me the best deal possible to rectify the previous deal I had with my previous lawyer. Now I have 50/50 custody of my daughter after everyone said “it can’t be done without a substantial change,” yet Kristin was the only professional to make this happen. She knows how to converse with the other parties lawyer to portray our side of the picture and it helped tremendously with the conversing being amicable and coming to a fair agreement. She listened to my concerns and efficiently voiced them. Thank you Kristin for being the best lawyer I could have hoped for and giving me the best outcome when all hope was lost.
