I was looking for a lawyer and a friend referred me to Sofia. I called her and she drove to my house in Miami from Broward to see me because I was too injured to drive. She spent over 2 hours with me asking questions and explaining everything. She was very compassionate and didn’t rush off even though it was late. Sofia is the only lawyer that always answered my calls. I always talked to her, not paralegals or secretaries like in other places. She told me the strength and weaknesses of my case and only asked that I cooperate with her and keep her informed of my treatments. She worked on my case for months, making calls, gathering records, sendings demand letters, and communicating with me. She was very firm in negotiating my case! She rejected the first offer of settlement I received because she said it was not good enough. She ended up getting me 5 TIMES THE AMOUNT OF MONEY that the in insurance company first offered me. Sofia recovered thousands of dollars for me thanks to her assertiveness and hard work. Great work!

I could have been deported to South America or Europe since I have dual citizenship. I had a drug charge and other lawyers didn’t want to take my case. But my lawyer Ms.Guzman fought for me and filed a lot of evidence that she asked for and I gave her. not only did I not get deported but now I have my permanent resident card..thanks Ms. Guzman for not giving up one me when others did.
