We met with Evan Shane months ago when we got married and from the very beginning he was very professional and attentive to detail. Shane did something that was very small but nonetheless important: he conveyed to us in the very beginning that privacy was very important and assured us that he and his team maintained confidentiality at all cost even if we knew we had acquaintances or friends who were also clients at the firm. That made a world of difference. We're a gay couple and Shane made us feel so comfortable. He effortlessly created an environment that was inclusive and welcoming even when we weren't the traditional straight marriage and not everyone is as welcoming to us in all situations we encounter. I highly recommend hiring this team because everyone we interacted with - Maria, Veronica, among others treated us like we were the only clients at the firm, always took the time to answer our questions and Veronica actually went with us on the day of the interview due to Shane having a personal emergency. I chose to hire Mr. Brauwerman because he seemed to no about the law. He was much more expensive than other lawyers and I thought that might make him better. I cannot imagine someone doing worse. He seemed lost in court and i felt alone. He did not tell the judge about my wife and kids. He told me he was an immigration judge and he new what to do but then in court he just sat there. After I finish paying I never talk to him only his secretary that has no information. I feel like if I had another lawyer I would not be deported. I also feel like he did not care about me or my family. When I had to pay he always called but now that my case is over I can not get hold him.

This immigration firm is the best of the best. Mr. Evan Shane was in charge of handling my immigration case. To state that my case was a 'complicated' one would be an understatement. The one of many things that I truly admired Evan was that I would never had to wait too long for an answer, he would always take the initiative to call me and keep me updated. There were times when I would walk out of the immigration office deflated, Evan would simply look at me and request that I keep my chin up with few simple words "This is what I do" "You're good hands". Now here I am knowing that he meant what we said and I stand by it 100%. The immigration process can be very complicated. A person life will easily change based on whether the immigration case is handled adequately or not and with that being stated ensure that you're in good hands because this is what Evan and his firm does.

A relative of mine had a very difficult Immigration case which many other law offices refused to take on due to the complexity of the case. Not only is Evan a wonderful attorney, he's a wonderful person! He answered all of my relatives questions, and told her it was a challenge but doable. Evan personally called her constantly to communicate updates and kept her informed every step of the way. Even when she had to temporarily relocate to another state, Evan was consistent with his updates and personal communications. He worked diligently and was able to get her case approved. Thanks to Evan, she was able to get her work permit, finally renew her driver's license, and within a week of the interview with Immigration which Evan accompanied her to, she received her green card in the mail! Evan was upfront about the challenging case, but put a plan in place and made her feel at ease with the process. Evan is honest, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He is straightforward and won't bs you. My entire family is extremely grateful.

I am an entrepreneur immigrant that was a green card holder for just over a decade. I should have filed for citizenship many years earlier and at the end of 2011 I finally decided to get the process going and used the firm of Shane & Shane to assist. The attorneys were very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly in every step of the process. The paperwork was sent in late December 2011 and I became a citizen in April 2012.
