I hired Ms. Braaten to assist in an adoption. She handled everything, from the initial filing through the final hearing with the judge and all the parties inbetween, making the entire process painless for me. She was quick to communicate with me when necessary and always responded in a timely manner if I had any questions. She was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for any future needs.

Arika is by far the best and most affordable divorce attorney in Florida! I've been divorced before (I don't choose well), and I've seen the divorce legal system first hand. Arika knows it backwards and forwards, knows all the judges and mediators, realizes her customers budgets, and all spousal and children's needs. This is a rarity for an Attorney. Plus, in my circumstance, she really cares, deep down, about my well-being and that of the children. I hired Ms. Braaten for my child support case. She dragged the case out and was very expensive. I gave her everything I had until I was homeless with my baby. When I told her, she explained usually she deals with clients from a lot of money and didn't think there was a rush to help me. Soon after, she was able to get me temporary child support due to the circumstances but I believe she was more interested in making sure I still had money to give her. Once I got the temporary support, every month she got about half of it and because I was receiving some assistance, I no longer qualified for food stamps. She made my situation worse and eventually fired her before she had a chance to ask for another retainer. All the money I gave her was as if I flushed it down the drain. I trusted her and thought she was everything I read in her more positive reviews but she did nothing good for my situation.

I am very pleased with the respresentation that she provided me. She is a very caring professional that takes the time to listen and answer questions. She walked me through all the steps of divorce and the process went very smooth and fast. She also provided suggestions and recommendations and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole divorce process. She is inexpensive and works with her clients based on their budget. I highly recommend her and definitely will call her again when I need legal representation.
