Too much detail to write. I'll make it short. He was commissioned by wife and I after collecting money following an interview in his office. Obvious he passed his work to another lawyer that did not sit in our interview and that made our legal results weak. 7 weeks for M. Garcia to return our phone messages. We left multiple messages with Maria and others each day, week, etc. Billing obviously is fraudulent! He will not, cannot give names, times, dates and minutes spent on phone with opposition. We believe M. Garcia is a dishonest, unprofessional lawyer. He thinks he is better than you and I. He has limited time to respond to a certified letter we sent M. Garcia threating a civil suit. He has not responded and probably will not. Will see ya in court Garcia. Thanks for ripping me off...

After signing the retainer, I had a gut feeling about Mr. Garcia becuase of a comment he made when I question his $7k retainer fee request, Mr. Garcia said to me, "You have to give a lot of money to show that you are serious." I was able to bring the retainer down to 2k but something didn't sit right about Mr. Garcia’s comment. When I received Mr. Garcia’s billing, I feel Mr. Garcia was dishonest at our initial consultation as he stated he had over 20 years of experience in construction law. However Mr. Garcia billed me 13 hours to research Fl statue 718 and 713 , billed me to reseach filing an appeal and research filing a motion to withdraw. I am also unhappy that Mr. Garcia did not obtain my approval on the decisions he made on my case. There were meetings with 3rd party individuals without my knowledge, and information was shared. Mr. Garcia submitted court paperwork without my consent. When I raised my concerns to Mr. Garcia, he told me, "If you don't like what I'm doing, go get another attorney,"

I did not know Mr. Garcia but I hired him after our first phone conversation He was always responsive to me throughout our entire process. I would recommend Michael Garcia to others.

Even though my case was small, I felt that Mr Garcia payed attention to the details and followed up both with the court and with the counterpart´s lawyer. He gave me around advise that allowed me to make the best decisions at every stage of the process. I felt well advised and represented. We were successful in our case. I saw "we" because I felt we fought it together. I am grateful to him.

Michael took on a very difficult case for us. He had no previous experience with our type of construction litigation but he quickly became an expert and did his homework. By the time the trial came around he was fully prepared and I felt that even if we lost the case Michael had done everything in his power to help me. During the trial Michael showed that he is a great trial lawyer. He exposed weaknesses in the other party's case and we won the trial. I was terrified of taking this case as far as we did, as I had never been involved in anything like it before. But Michael made everything better by keeping me informed, and I knew that he wouldn't take the case unless he knew we actually had a case. Overall Michael demonstrated tremendous professionalism and above all he truly cares for his clients.

Recently I met with Mr. Garcia to discuss an issue I was having with my roofing company to discuss their not honoring their ten year warranty relative to a roof leak at my residence. In a short time he was able to clearly explain to me the concerns I had in trying to resolve my issue against the company I had issue with. Without being specific as to our consultation I felt he had my best interests in mind rather then acquiring a client..If the occasion arises in the future where I'm in need of an attorney for my issue I will definitely hire Mr. Garcia.. I can't thank him enough for his time and his expertise..

I hired Michael as counsel to represent my company in the acquisition of a property in Florida. The property was sitting vacant and in need of repairs due to undergoing a fire. The property had several code violations and had accrued a large lien amount. Michael came in with a strategy to work with the city and mitigate a reduction of the lien. This enabled us to move forward with the purchase of the property. Michael communicated well throughout the duration of his retainment and kept me abreast of vital details.

I hired Michael to help me recover my security deposit. He is very knowledgeable, kept me informed, was there to listen to my concerns, was easy to get in contact with, and he reassured me throughout the process which really helped with any anxiety I had. Lets start off by saying that Mr. Garcia is a very humble, down to earth person. When we first talked he actually allowed me to speak with him about the situation, unlike most lawyers who will not hear you out because they are not being paid by the hour. No fees were discussed until he was actually hired. He went to court on my behalf when needed. He made sure I had all the proper documents needed to pursue my case and win. My experience was GREAT! I have no complaints. He's one of the best.

We hired Michael to represent us and throughout the process he was professional and precise in his dealings with us and opposing counsel. He went above and beyond the scope of his trade and made us feel comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable experience. No sane person wants to go through a lawsuit but If I had to do it again, I would want Michael to represent us.
