Diksha is amaizing,and is a wizzard of her craft. I had a very bad experience, at first I loved Diksha she was straightforward and seemed to be well versed in what I needed. She is a mother and has been divorced and that resonated with me. I am in the middle of a long complicated divorce with many layers and I thought she could help. I honestly feel like I was fooled. I did not know at the time that she was just starting her independent practice and her reviews may have been from previous work under another firm with more support and better management. I spent over $25,000 with her to accomplish NOTHING. I am still married, all of the hours sending her evidence, the anxiety and frustration were for nothing. I feel like her junior level staff continually mixed up details about my case and were slow to respond. They also proceeded with motions and billed me for things that I did not want without my consent ( she uses temps and an outside service for support). I brought this to her attention multiple times. In addition, she showed up late to my mediation and personally I felt she was unprepared. I specifically asked for a conversation prior to walking into my husbands lawyers office and she did not connect with me despite my multiple calls and emails. She then showed up late and took an approach that basically set fire to the mediation and created such a difficult dynamic that everything devolved and it was a massive waste of time and energy and thousands of dollars,. I left crying and distraught, she did not advocate for me in the way that I expected. After speaking with other people mediation typically don't last 9 hours and leave the client shaking and in tears. She chose and agreed to a mediator that would not let me speak and shushed me multiple times. During our mediation, I went to speak with the mediator and my husband in another room and when I would return to discuss or get feedback she was working on other cases and handling other calls on my billable hours rather than going over the documents that were just received and strategizing on my case. Needless to say the mediation did not resolve my case & I brought my frustrations and concerns to her and she dismissed them saying. "The mediator doesn't matter because if its a bad deal I wont let my client take it" I will tell you that $3,000 spend on a bad mediation does matter to me. I do believe having a better mediator and a prepared attorney that had communicated with me prior to walking in cold and using a position I had repeatedly asked her not to use would have created a better outcome. I like to believe Disksha has a good heart and maybe my challenges were because she was overwhelmed and had taken on to many clients without proper support while she was scaling her firm but I'm not sure. I would suggest you use another attorney if you want someone that is prepared and detail oriented.
