I won’t go into details, but I will say that my experience with Akilah was so bad, that I actually cried when I had to pay our final bill. There was one hearing which I attended with her which left me speechless because she basically just let me be punished for something I absolutely did not do — and when it was her chance to speak, she just accepted the punishment instead of investigating, asking me, or anything. Akilah doesn’t realize how much that hearing affected the rest of the history of litigation (I hired a new attorney after this incident,) but I was shocked that she could just let me down so much. I regret hiring her and I hope she one day realizes that her clients lives are in her hands and mine has been altered forever by the lack of representation I feel I received.

Josh is one of the best Attorneys in the south Florida area. He is extremely knowledgeable with Florida law and has been a former DA. His communication is exceptional which is very important. Go with Josh if you need an Attorney!!

I hired Ms. Harris to assist me with my Child Custody Case. The mother of my daughter took her to another state, without my knowledge or permission. Given the fact that, there were unresolved child support issues, the mother of my daughter was represented by attorneys from the Division of Children and Family. Despite the extensive resources of the State of Florida, Ms. Harris prepared my legal position and effectively argued my case to a successful conclusion. I now have full custody of my daughter, and a very fair time sharing arrangement, and I am now entitled to receive child support payments, instead of having to pay. I needed a divorce but didn't want a hassle. She gave me all information I needed to know. I didn't need to do anything but show up for court and get him to sign the papers. If I did this on my own it would have taken me forever. She had all the documents ready for us to sign. Everything was done in a matter of months, due to court dates, and she was honest and truthful about what to expect. It was a good experience for my first lawyer. If I need any advice I know I can go to her and get the right information.

Joshua is very knowledgeable of the law and definitely knows the system, after speaking to him the first time I knew this was the man to represent my boyfriend. What I admire and respect about Joshua is his honesty and his personal approach towards his clients when I would reach out to him he would respond within minutes even when he was in court he would send a quick text to let me know he would get back to me shortly. And now why I would recommend Joshua like I stated earlier he’s very knowledgeable of the law and knows the system my boyfriend was looking at serving 17 years in prison due to his points and his charges, Joshua was very honest from the beginning of what the outcome could possibly be, my boyfriend didn’t want to spend a day in jail nor did he want to do 10 years probation. Anyhow the outcome of the case was Joshua got his felony down to a misdemeanor and he only received 2 years probation. I honestly have to say Joshua is one of the best attorneys I know he difently fights for his clients rights. He’s a amazing attorney.
