Save your money and find a good attorney that will advocate for you. It’s all about billable hours and what she wants to advocate for which may not be in your best interest. I was referred to her by another attorney.

Unfortunately, I have been in litigation with my ex since March of 2015. I basically donated thousands of dollars to my first attorney who did nothing! In (I believe) September of 2015, I retained Linda Fried to represent me. She is a beast! She has done more than I could have ever imagined possible. I tell everyone to trust the process and trust your attorney. Assuming of course your attorney is Linda. Had I had my way in the very beginning, I would have lost out on so much! We tend to want what we want when we want it. In the moment, I didn't have the ability to see clearly and take the emotions out of case. (Something I still struggle with, but Linda works diligently to try to reel me in... which, is no easy task) Thankfully, Linda knows what she is doing and has never done what I ask but rather what she feels and knows is best. This has ALWAYS resulted in an outcome that exceeds my expectations every single time! If you want someone who will fight for you and do things accordingly, within the scope of the law, Linda Fried is for you! This also makes her highly regarded and respected by the courts. If you want an attorney who is going to file nonsense, frivolous Motions for the sake of billing and ultimately also loosing the court's respect and credibility, Linda is not the attorney for you. How I have seen the judges address the Linda Fried and how I have seen them address other attorneys speaks for itself. Fried and Fried are the only attorneys I would ever recommend to friends and family. I wouldn't trust my family's fate and well-being to anyone else! Her office returned my call the same day I left a message for her. She did not have an opening in her schedule that worked with mine, but she made time to meet with me anyway. She was there for me from the first time we spoke. Her knowledge of the law and direct advice was always accurate. I had an especially contentious divorce. My ex-husband did everything to afford himself the upper hand and was the sole provider in our marriage. I needed someone who was going to fight for me, and Mrs. Fried dialed into exactly what my ex-husband was trying to do in no time. Mrs. Fried was unwavering in my defense and if you’re reading this, don’t necessarily let the number of reviews for an attorney be the deciding factor for who you choose. I felt like a million dollars the first day of mediation when I could tell how highly respected by the magistrate she was. On more than one occasion, he told me that I had one of the only attorneys in the area who comes prepared with their paperwork, and boy was he right! The day that the court finally awarded me emergency spousal support, I got it the very same day because of how hard she fought and because she was done with the paperwork before we ended our Zoom call! On the last day of mediation, it was apparent we might have to go to trial the next day. The magistrate told me he knew I didn’t want to have to do that, and he was right. However, by this time working with Mrs. Fried, I knew that if we had to she would be ready to go. Mrs. Fried is an exemplary attorney. So much that I know for a fact my ex tried to find a new one halfway through the divorce. He was looking for someone who was also board certified in marital and family law, like Mrs. Fried is. She is a champion of women and a warrior! It was the best call I have ever made, and I can’t imagine what would have happened if I had not called her office that day. In no uncertain terms, Mrs. Fried saved my life.

Throughout my entire divorce, as many times as I went to Linda‘s office, she never came out to introduce herself! Not once! Still to this day I have no idea what she looks like LOL! Unprofessional!

I called for a consultation with her not knowing my ex had obtained her. I could literally hear her screaming about “why is she calling here” and going on and on yelling about stuff. I had zero clue he obtained her. I told the person who answered the phone I could hear everything she said and she seemed uncomfortable saying anything. I can only imagine how toxic of a work environment they have there. Sure I’ve heard she’s a fighter, but sometimes you can go too far. Glad I ended up not using her. Funny because I consulted a year prior, so her representing my ex could be seen as conflict of interest

Linda is an excellent attorney. When you see her in front of the judge you quickly realized that is the attorney for you. she is brilliant, compassionate, and a quick thinker. she looks out for your best interest and wins. Mrs. Fried is an exceptional Attorney Her law firm and team are second to none. Her expertise in family law and handling my divorce was a cut above all other firms in the area. Linda is amazing, she took on my very difficult case and took control of the situation . She was passionate about my case. She worked with me and made me feel like I was the only client that she had. Went to my consultation waited 20 minutes then waited while Attny Fried spoke to another attorney for 15 more minutes mentioning names in front of me. Inappropriate so much for privacy! Don't use this attorney! BEWARE!

Last year I found myself being sued for divorce totally unexpectedly. Ms. Fried took my case and walked me through the toughest time in my life. I was being sued for everything that I had worked my entire life to attain. She was outstanding personally,professionally and always responsive. Called for a consultation, Linda was very abrupt and rude. I am looking for a lawyer with human factor and it doesn't seem like Linda has that. She may be experienced (so people say) but if you can't be patient and realize a client is simply reaching out for help because they don't have the answers, you are not a professional in my book!
