Ms. Simons is never in the office. Always “on vacation”. Never returns paying clients calls blames staff for missed calls. I believe her cell phone is what is listed as her contact number, so I’m unsure how not returning messages on a cell phone provided on pens and business cards is the fault of staff. When you do get Ms. Simons on the phone, she is hostile and acts annoyed by questions regarding Association concerns. It’s also concerning, that the turnover of employees in this firm is high. There have been 3 attorneys our Association can count that have left within less than 6 months and 2 paralegals. Ms. Simons also seems to blame any error on whoever departed the firm last, instead of looking into the matter. The attorney rates are also misleading and never explained when questioned.

Harbour Castle Homeowners Association hired Diane Simmons in 2014. She immediately reviewed our documents and discovered that they were expiring and needed immediate revitalization. Previous lawyers had never mentioned this issue. We would have lost our status as a deed restricted Homeowners Association, if it were not for her knowledge and foresight. She has since guided us through the process to update our documents. She is quick to respond to our legal questions and protects us from inadvertently violating laws that recently changed. From my point of view, Diane has provided HCHOA with the best legal services that we have had in the seventeen years that I have been in the community,

I was referred to attorney Diane Simons by a friend. The professionalism of Ms. Simons and her paralegal were outstanding. They were friendly and took the time with my case. Ms. Simons's attention to detail was appreciated and resulted in my case concluding in my favor. Ms. Simons and her paralegal Megan answered every message and every e-mail in impressive time and gave thorough and efficient explanations. I highly recommend Simons Law Group.

I submitted paperwork to the law office on May 8, 2017 as requested. (The paperwork was everything reviewed & provided by my previous lawyer) Megan stated that Attorney Simons would look over the documents to see if they would be able to provide representation. On June 5, 2017 after not hearing anything in regards to my potential case, I called the firm to see if they believed there was a case. Megan answered the phone. Megan stated Attorney Simons was still looking over the paperwork and asked that I call back. I called back on June 2, 2017 to see if I had a case. Megan stated that they were unclear on a couple of documents. I verbally clarified the documents via the phone, in addition, I supplied those documents the very same day via fax and received confirmation that they were received. I again asked if she knew based upon the documents supplied if there was a case. Megan stated that she had not received the documents and could not say if I had grounds for a case or if Attorney Simons even had time to take my case. I then said, “it’s been 4 weeks that you have had my paperwork and you can’t tell me if I have a case yet, and that this firm may possibly not even be able to represent me?” Megan then said in a very rude aggressive tone, “Ma’am I had a family emergency you can come and pick up your paperwork”. Megan then hung up the phone on me. The passing of four weeks without any movement on my possible case has been devastating, since time is of the essence. This firm’s first point of contact Megan, is a extremely unprofessional and rude.
