This was the only law firm that would represent me in my SSA out of ALL central and southern Florida!!! I never met the other law firms criteria based on my age. My medical issues surpass most of the 55 and older excuse I was told by other firms and they degraded me when I am already in a vulnerable state. Avard made me feel important and was willing to put in the hard work and fight. One last thing, no matter what age you are at the end of the day we are all equal human beings. Which all experience the pain and hurt that completely debilitated our lives and maybe not in the same levels or interpretations. Absolutely amazing for DUI's! I'm not one to post unless I feel it's absolutely worth it. So please hear what I have to say: I was facing my 3rd DUI with a BAC of .18 and accident (I was heading up the wrong way and bumped another car in the process). All of this was in one of the most strict counties in Florida, Martin County. To make matters worse, I didn't show up for my court date and had to turn myself in two days after the fact. Now tell me, how do you get out of that?! I had one of the finest lawyers you could possibly have on your side. Michael Braxton worked tirelessly and relentlessly on my case for over 7 months. The prosecution was asking for the max which was one year in jail and a lifetime loss of license. In the end I did an astonishing 13 days in jail, one year probation, and 10 years lose of license with the ability for a hardship license in 2 years. I know going through something like this will cause you to be worried sick to your stomach. I know you won't be able to sleep at night. I know that doing anything fun just isn't fun because of the impending punishment. But please, breath. If you have Michael Braxton working for you, be easy on yourself. He'll take care of you. I promise. Thank you again Mike. I not only learned my lesson, but I learned how hard another person will work for someone else.
