I hired Minton Law, Ashley Minton to handle my case for a probation violation. Multiple times, I have used a public defender, and "taken deals" thinking it was in my best interest. Not having money for excessive bail amounts, and thinking I did not have money to pay a lawyer. Now I know, it is NEVER in your best interest to just take a deal, and you can't afford NOT to have the best defense available to you. Freedom is PRICELESS, and Minton Law IS the best defense you can get. I did shop for lawyers before retaining Minton Law, and ultimately retained her because of her reputation and not her fee, but her fees were more fair and affordable than other counsel I could have retained. Minton Law gave the option to work with me for payment, so it wasn't all a big hit at once. Ashley and her team really worked hard, (honestly, much harder than they should have had to) and believed in me. Any time I had a question, Ashley and her team made sure to provide the information I needed and answer questions almost immediately. I was innocent of the allegations I was accused of, and my life would be so different If I would have retained competent, amazing counsel like Minton Law before this. The justice system isn't on your side, the prosecutor is not there to find justice, they are there to prosecute you by any means necessary, you NEED someone like Ashley Minton who knows the laws, knows the case law, knows the prosecutor's tricks, is experienced dealing with each Judge, does, and has a knowledgeable team that do their homework and fight. I was terrified taking this to trial, remembering the things I had been told by prior court appointed counsel to encourage me to "take a deal".
