I would just like to take a minute and say thank you to Shawn, and Kenya for their professionalism, politeness , And great communication that was shown to me throughout my recent divorce. Shawn is an amazing attorney, that is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Not only did he Do a great job representing me through my divorce, but he also did an amazing job representing me when my ex wife tried to file a frivolous protective order against me. And working with Kenya throughout The entire process was great. She is so friendly and polite and so knowledgeable. She is also very fast to respond to any questions that I had, or get answers directly from Shawn if she wasn’t sure. For anyone going through a divorce or any other family law matters I highly highly recommend Risen and Ryan! And while I hope that I don’t have to call upon their services again if I am in need of a family law attorney in the future, they will be my go to. One stop shop for military people in real need. They HURT me more than helped. Wouldn’t suggest them to my worst enemy.

My court case was a bit difficult and took over a year to get processed that was not their fault however Mr. Shawn, Mr. Dan, and Mrs. Kenya made sure to communicate with me regarding any updates and if anything had came up that needed to be addressed. My case is over now and I am 100% pleased with their help. Thank you to everyone that had a part in my case you were all very helpful.

I met with Mr.Ryan today for a consultation and was immediately unimpressed. He was very rude, did not introduce himself or even consider pleasantries. After 2 minutes i knew this wasn’t what I was looking for. All legal rules aside, I could tell there would be no compassion in the matter. If you want someone who doesn’t care about YOU this is your lawyer.

Never been there

Been contemplating for awhile about even dropping a review but to save the next military member or for that matter a guy in general… don’t bother going. Dan won’t keep in contact with you then will randomly call when he has questions (weeks later). The worst part of it is that he tells me the day of court “so I’m not going to hammer her but if I was her attorney then I would 100% hammer you”. Talk about a spit to the face. If you looking to just get quickly divorced and a lack luster of support if you’re going through custody then he’s your guy! Shout out my guy Dan. You a real one champ.

We just finished court, being represented by Dan Risen, and during his opening the judge interrupted Dan to pay his compliments. The judge stated that “as always”, all of the proper paperwork was filed and there were no details missing. He said that he couldn’t say it for all lawyers, but Dan always makes his job easier. Approaching this date we had a great experience working with Dan and with Kenya at the office. Our hearing was a breeze and we are so thankful to have worked with this firm. Highly recommend.

Dan Ryan represented me twice in frivolous injunctions my sons mother filed against me. I can’t say enough about him, he was awesome and did an outstanding job getting the dismissal. I was a nervous wreck but he talked to me and assured me he had it. It is because of this, and other facts of my custody case that I was able to get primary custody of my son later on. Thank you again sir!!! I highly recommend!!!
