Personally I had bad experience with this firm , initially I contacted the is firm because we need to resolve an issue with something we purchased and we got scammed for more than 5k with a company in Miami , this firm ask for every detail in this case and they took it but after 3 months I was trying to contact them and the person in charge of my case was no longer available and they didn’t tell us anything like an update or anything so I had to call Them and also write many messages via Instagram and after 3 weeks they finally responded just saying that they not gonna take my case without mentioning anything Terrible customer service and I believe the lawyers or attorneys working there are really amateur and with zero professionalism

Hey, I want to thank the team for their exceptional help in resolving an issue with my credit report. I was distressed when I discovered incorrect information on my report, but the team handled everything with professionalism. I’m relieved to see the issue with Equifax is finally resolved. I truly appreciate their expertise and support. Now I’m waiting for the Experian settlement agreement. Highly recommend their services!:)

Having Camille Coolidge represent me was a positive experience in every way. My wife and I were beyond impressed by her professionalism, attention to detail, organization and clarity. She was prompt and thorough in her responses to all of our questions and concerns. Not only does she strive for excellence as an attorney but she is above all a wonderfully caring human being. Facing legal challenges can be very difficult but Camille Coolidge makes every effort to help her clients and gives them peace of mind through the process. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me and my family.

Camille Coolidge, of Coolidge Law Group, has been my attorney since 2015 serving as my legal representative and continues to this day. During our very first phone conversation, I knew I would be in GREAT hands and immediately requested she take my case. She handled it all for me...mediation, time sharing, dissolution of marriage, long-term alimony, fair distribution of marital assets, long-term child support if needed. There were COUNTLESS days and hours in the courtroom; but I always had a sense of calm and confidence that made it easier to sleep at night knowing she was on my side and taking care of everything...and she did, with positive results! I am in awe of her astounding knowledge of case law. She has expertise, enthusiasm, compassion, professionalism as well as patience, which is bar none. I was in unchartered seas, but she was and continues to be the calm in my storm. She always represented commitment, perseverance, and good judgement, always looking out for me and my best interests in a fair and nonjudgmental way. In addition to her beauty and brains, she is a wolf in sheep's clothing when need be. Communication is so important and has always been my top priority. I've made numerous calls, emails, and texts (to her personal cellphone), all of which were addressed and answered in a more than timely manner, even if it was one of my famous "quick questions" over the weekend. Rikki Zee is her amazing partner. Her caring and kind demeanor is the first thing you hear in her voice. She perseveres and is relentless in her “investigating”. Her patience also exceeds standards when responding prompt and precise to my "quick question" any day of the week. The phone call never ended before all my questions/concerns were addressed and answered to my satisfaction. Camille and Rikki have both made such an impact on my life and my children's' lives, all for the better. I could not have done this without them!. I highly recommend Coolidge Law Group for legal representation. Add them to your contacts!! You won't be disappointed!

Arthur Vincent is a wonderful attorney. I felt that he always had my best interest in mind and explained things well and in a timely manner. It is a stressful time when an attorney is needed, and his staff and him made it a lot less stressful. Not only did he represent me as a lawyer, but Arthur saw my true heart and represented me as a friend.

Vincent Law was able to successfully defend me in my landlord-tenant dispute. After vacating my unit and leaving the premises in impeccable condition, the landlord had decided not to follow the statue and not return my security deposit. With the help of Arthur Vincent I was able to receive my full security deposit and legal fees. Mr. Vincent was a reassuring presence throughout the legal proceedings and made sure that the law was followed. Based on my experience, I would certainly recommend Vincent Law to others who may need legal assistance in similar matters. It is always reassuring to have an experienced and knowledgeable lawyer on your side, and Mr. Vincent was that lawyer.

I’ve referred countless clients to Hager and Schwartz for their criminal defense needs and ive also sent personal friends to John Hager for assistance with minor criminal offenses. Whether the case is large or small, John has always been responsive and attentive to my clients’ needs. Perhaps more importantly, Hager and Schwartz have always provided exemplary legal representation and produced excellent results on a consistent basis. I cant recommend their services highly enough.

John worked diligently and quickly to resolve our case successfully. He got our case resolved in record time, and surpassed any expectations I had. I am truly impressed by his efficiency and his care that he takes with his clients. He answered all of our many questions and kept us calm throughout a turbulent time. He attended to the specific details of our case, treating us with respect and sympathy. You would have a very difficult time finding someone else with John's character, knowledge, and experience. 10/10 I would recommend to anyone. Thank you very much John!

Wow John Hager is great! I called him after my boyfriend got a trespassing charge. For his services he got the case dismissed without even going to court. He has a gorgeous office over looking downtown. His prices are super affordable for what he offers. I love how HE answers the phone and you get to talk to HIM. Most attorneys I’ve hired in the past take your money and never return your calls. If you need anything expunged off your record he does it for the low. First class all the way, I highly recommend Mr.Hager & his team for a traffic, misdemeanor or felony case! Money well spent.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Ft Lauderdale, Florida?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
