Kinsell Law Firm team has made mine & my fiancés Christmas dream, COME TRUE! What a BLESSING & RELIEF it was, when sentencing day finally came!
Mr. John Whitaker was the first attending lawyer who fought for my fiancé's rights & filed a motion of "recuse", which was approved! We were both truly grateful & had high hopes for a better sentencing, rather then what the previous judge/state was inquiring.
Unfortunately, Mr. Whitaker is no longer with the law firm company; so that's when we got a phone call from Mr. Miles Kinsel himself & gave us higher hopes and made us feel that we have a much STRONGER chance in FAITH, that we may just beat this horrific rollercoaster ride that we have endured for 14 months with his ex-girlfriend and my fiancé's three year old daughter, who disappeared.
My fiancé hasn't seen his three year old daughter in two years. His ex did not even leave a note and emptied out his bank account. With that said, she filed for an injunction, that my fiancé was NOT AWARE of and contacted his ex's mother via e-mail to check on how his daughter is doing. His ex was contacting him as well, as she knew she had already filed an injunction on him.
Sadly, due to what a normal father or just like any other loving parent would do to reach out to their own child, who was taken without a no call, no show, and also mind that my fiancé being un aware of the injunction that was taken in place, caused an automatic violation of an injunction.
Going through Kinsel Law Firm and requesting for a new judge, was the first step to my fiancé's nightmare, and was the BEST thing that could have ever happened!
As we received a new judge, Mr. Miles Kinsel and Ms. Libby (the most sweetest and concerned receptionist), stepped up in a professional & such a caring manner 24/7). Within a short amount of time, Mr. Kinsel TACKLED and handled the case the way the Judicial System should ALWAYS be ran; to hear both sides of the story and to pray for the judge to see the truth & innocence of the defendant/s (my fiancé/innocent civilians) and may they be released or decrease the amount of sentencing.
For civilians who are innocent, or have no choice to have a voice to speak for their very own freedom, I would and WILL always suggest to friends and family, that KINSEL LAW FIRM is the way to go!
My fiancé did not get a year in prison for a misdemeanor, he was sentenced ten days, with a one day game time, so technically my fiancé has to serve nine days and was given a choice which days was more convenient for him due to keeping his job to enable to still have income, a roof over our heads, and clothing on our backs.
Ms. Libby & Mr. Miles Kinsel, was truly a BLESSING from the sky!! In my books, I give them 6⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! THANK YOU KINSEL LAW FIRM, from the bottom of our hearts! I get to spend Christmas with my fiancé! Happy Holidays & God Bless!
Sincerely,
The Young's

I thought my life was over the morning of my first showing. I can't express how devasting and traumatic my arrest was for me. I was pulled over and informed that I had hit a bicyclist and fled the scene of the crime. I was not given further information and my passenger and I were absolutely positive that I had not hit anyone. Believing they had the wrong vehicle, I continued to question the officers. I was not cooperative nor was I pleasant after receiving brief, nondescript answers to my questions and being demanded to adhere to their instructions. I was asked to perform a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer, both of which I refused on the principal that I still did not understand how I could have possibly hit a bicyclist and not noticed. From there things got very chaotic very quickly. I was finally placed under arrest and charged with a hit and run (felony), DUI (misdemeanor), resisting arrest (misdemeanor), and resisting arrest with violence (felony). Upon hearing the details of the witness testimony and the bicyclist the morning of my first hearing, I realized that there was every possibility that I had in fact hit a bicyclist and not realizing the incident occurred left the scene completely unaware of what had happened. I was devasted. I had never been to jail before, nor had I ever gotten in trouble in any way outside of a speeding ticket. I am also a former tour guide and a DUI would mean I would never be allowed to hold that position again. Jail was awful, but the media attention and slandering of my name throughout the city the following weeks was even worse. I felt as though every good thing I had ever done was now null and void after this incident. I nearly lost my job, I lost social connections and had to endure very malicious gossip for months at my place of work.
That being said, I was referred to Miles Kinsell. He ended up being a true God send. He was in the higher range of expense for his service. He was also not shy about explaining the severity of my charges and what could come of them if I were to be convicted. I had read that he was not responsive and pushy to get his clients to settle earlier than necessary, so I was hesitant. I ended up choosing him due to his matter of fact attitude and his vast connections, experience and knowledge in the field. I am EXTREMELY grateful that I did. The state prosecutor waited for a very, very long time to formally charge me. Due to this there was a lot of downtime in which I was left in limbo not knowing what would come of it. Miles was not overly communicative during this time which did concern me to begin with but I came to realize that was only because there was nothing to communicate and any time there was he would reach out to me immediately. Even during the waiting period I would call him to ask how things were going and he would always return my call without impatience and was very understanding of how nerve-racking it was to have to wait.
He did the research and work necessary, as well as continual follow up with the state prosecutor, to get the charges of hit and run, DUI, and resisting arrest dismissed before we ever went to court. He then came to an agreement with the state prosecutor, that I felt completely comfortable with, in the form of a PTI. If I complete the agreed upon probation and community service without getting in any trouble the felony charge of resisting with violence will also be dropped. The judge himself said this was the best possible outcome for the circumstances in my case.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Miles! I would recommend him in a heartbeat. He knows what he is doing, is quick to respond to any questions or concerns, and has formed invaluable connections and relationships within the Gainesville court system. His work and dedication to me and my case has given me a new lease on life!

This legal team is stellar, I was facing DUI charges and I was really afraid of how this would affect grad school, my record and life in general. Miles, John and Libby made the ordeal painless, Miles and John actually work on cases together so your getting 2 attorneys for the cost. And in my book their fees were minimal considering they got the charges dropped through a deferment period and at the end of said time period the DUI will become reduced to a citation and I can have the whole ordeal expunged. They have great communication and service even after the bulk of the legal work is completed, they are personable, informative and they say call or email anytime with future questions or concerns. I feel luck to have found a firm as good as this one, I have met a few folks that have faced DUI in the past and they said their attorneys (different firms) didn't do a things for them and they still got the book thrown at them when it was all said and done. Not me, and I own it to Kinsell and Whitaker.

I had a legal issue back in 2006 that should have ruined my life. Luckily, I was referred to Miles. Through Miles' hard work, I was able to move on from the incident without ruining my wellbeing. Among other things, what Miles can bring to the table is that before he became a defense attorney, he worked for years as a state prosecutor. Obviously, he knows the ins and outs on their side. He was able to get the state to compromise with me and show me some leniency - when the state did not have to do so. Had I not had Miles representing me, I don't know what would have happened to me - but I know I would not be in as good a position as I'm in right now. Miles is worth every penny I paid him for helping me. He knows what he is doing. If you are looking for a defense attorney who can make things happen with the state, call Miles.
