Jose is a true professional. He and his office are friendly, efficient, attentive, and provide excellent service. They helped us with two separate closings where they went above and beyond what was required to make sure everything went smoothly. I would absolutely choose them for any future closings and and recommend them to anyone.

Well to start off I was told he was very good at his job I did want to work with him but I had a feeling things wouldn't work out when I called and left a message with his assistant I guess. Either she never told him anything about it or he just decided not to call back. So I called again got him on the phone and explained what I needed and that I would pay for it.He said ok email the things and he'll get back to me. 2 weeks go by with no reply after I sent a follow up email. I guess he too busy for my little things so I found another lawyer to work with. I would have been completely ok with a "hey I'm too busy right now to do that".

I’m a disabled veteran that almost lost everything due to the lack of attention to detail regarding my case and communication breakdown solely Mr. Moreno’s fault! I did everything I was instructed to do and had a sheriff deputy at my rental! Jose had to file an emergency stop to my eviction just to give me time to move my belongings! I was told by him that he was taking care of everything and that he didn’t charge vets! I would have gladly paid or simply moved rather then go through the hell we did! With this kind of help Veterens don’t need any enemies!!! 😡 p.s they couldn’t be bothered to help get back any of the deposit! Another promise not honored!

Jose has handled many of my real estate transactions and personal matters. I find him to be very professional and helpful. There's not many attorneys that will pick up the phone and offer free legal advice that they could charge a fee for.

This is a pro-landlord, anti-tenant law firm. They don't represent tenants unless they can make a ton of money. Mr. Moreno's rookie assistant attorney, Jerry McIver, just recently filed what is known as a "sham pleading" against me in Case No. 2015-CA-2995 (Alachua Circuit Court) and tried to get Judge Toby Monaco to award their client, James F. Hough, the $483 dollar per month rent payments (4 total) that the Gainesville Housing Authority suspended since Mr. Moreno's client, Mr. Hough, refused to perform repairs for this service-disabled, impoverished Marine veteran over the course of 9 months. That's right, 9 months I had to file a motion to strike and dismiss under Civil Rule 1.150 to reply to this nonsense Mr. McIver filed. This is the typical behavior you see from opportunitist lawyers who are glad to take anyone's money and file frivolous, sham pleadings a drag innocent people into the courts for no just legal basis whatsoever. The news media rarely reports what lawyers and judges do down at your local courthouses. But trust me, as a professional paralegal of over 20 years experience, you would be shocked at the totally illegal and unethical things that go on in the Florida courts, and especially the Alachua County civil and criminal courts. And the lawyers all just play along since they get their legal fees regardless, and Always the fees or retainers are paid UP FRONT. So if you lose, your attorney still gets paid. Not asingle one of them like Jose Moreno and Mr. McIver have the guts to file Judicial Misconduct complaints when judges do the unethical things that they often do.
