I first came in touch with OC Estate & Elder Law after my sister passed away in 2016. At the time of her passing she had a pending personal injury claim. In order for that to be resolved an estate had to be opened and this is where this firm made everything easy. I met in person with them a handful of times when it mattered and they got me and my parents through the process quickly. My relief came from the estate being closed and my sister's injury claim being settled so I could give that money to my parents and take some pressure off my shoulders in this long transition that we have still been in. My mom passed away, leaving a custodial account, set up by me as her VA fiduciary so she could receive benefits. The account was frozen upon her death. I had tried to sort the paperwork necessary the year before, only to be notified by the County Probate court I filed under the wrong category. My mother passed away without a will and about 15-20 retirement, savings and investment accounts. OC Estate was fantastic in the sorting and organizing all of the accounts and guiding through the court process and collection of the accounts for me and my siblings.
