To say I am grateful, would not be enough for what Ian B. Schatzman did for my Insurance to finally come through. He was Incredibly down to earth, very professional and responsive to any questions I had. After Hurricane Irma, I thought I would be able to handle the loss claim with Citizen's Insurance by myself. After several months of dealing with the Desk Adjuster for my claim, it became apparent that I was not up to the task of dealing with a company that was buried under the enormous claim backlog created by this storm. When I received notice that they intended to invoke the "appraisal" clause in my policy (where each side chooses an appraiser to assess the cost of repairs and the result would be binding) I contacted Schatzman & Hovanyecz and heard from Ian within minutes. I began working with Zoltan Hovanyecz from that point forward. Within a few months, my claim had been settled, and for an amount that was fair and reasonable. Zoltan's ability to get the attention of the right people at Citizens and bring them to the table was instrumental in the process, and I would recommend this firm to anyone experiencing a property loss claim in Florida.
