A couple of years ago I found myself in bizarre legal situation in which I had been accused of something I did not do. I won’t bother with specifics, but I can say that my accuser was a former law enforcement officer and he lied to local authorities who then charged me with a crime without conducting a proper investigation. They basically took his word for it. Mr. Magilligan pro-actively contacted me and was the first lawyer I spoke with. I ended up vetting over a half-dozen attorneys and ultimately went with Magilligan Law. I couldn’t have been more pleased. First of all, his legal fees are extremely reasonable when compared to other attorneys. Not only that, he also charges a flat rate so you won’t have a lawyer slapping the meter every time you spend fifteen minutes on the phone with them. Also, we appeared in court several times before my actual trial and I did not get billed for those says. The reasonable costs alone would be a good reason to hire Dave Magilligan. It's also important to mention that David as a decent guy with a charming personality. He’s funny and articulate and he clearly understands the law. My case went to trial and David more than held his own against two overzealous state prosecutors that had no case. Needless to say, I was acquitted. If you are looking for a reasonably priced trial attorney that won’t saddle you with phantom fees and additional costs, look no further that David Magilligan. He’s a good man and a good lawyer.
