Best Business attorney in Jacksonville. Credible, knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant. We will defiantly use Murphy & Ellis in the future and 5/5 would recommend them to a friend or colleague.

Yesterday I had a consultation regarding an immigration issue. I met with the lawyer on time, I didn’t have to wait on him, he answered all of the questions I had. What I appreciated the most was how candid he was. This law firm is not into charging bogus fees. Take it from me, if you have any case and you want a good outcome , you’ll be a fool not to hire them to represent you.

I have known Jeremy Lasnetski for over a decade as a fellow immigration attorney. I have known John Gihon almost as long - but mostly as my opponent in immigration court. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Lasnetski and Mr. Gihon. They are both excellent, ethical, honest and hardworking attorneys. Mr. Gihon is one of a handful of deportation defense attorneys who was previously on the other side - i.e, representing the government. Having sat across from Mr. Gihon many times when he represented the government in immigration court, I can confidently say any immigrant who is wrongly facing deportation or who has any semblance of a defense, could not hope for a better lawyer to be on their side. Mr. Gihon is very well regarded among immigration officials. He is a gifted trial attorney. His nickname is “Walking Encyclopedia” because of his remarkable recall. Florida is very fortunate to have a lawyer like Mr. Gihon available to defend immigrants. I know the government would have much preferred Mr. Gihon to be an immigration judge rather than a private defender. Mr. Shorstein was the former County Attorney and Mr. Lasnetski, like me, was a Prosecutor. This is a powerhouse law firm with a stellar reputation. If you are fortunate enough to be accepted by them as a client, be a good client. Excellent attorneys like Jeremy Lasnetski and John Gihon can pick and choose their cases. If you want the best from any attorney, it is crucially important that you maintain a respectful relationship with the person into whose hands you have placed your and your family’s future. If a client comes to me looking to replace Mr. Lasnetski or Mr. Gihon, I will not even offer them a second opinion because I know the client is already exceptionally well represented. Be aware that the business model of too many immigration lawyers these days is to get their clients deported as quickly as possible. I have even seen judges file bar complaints before a lawyer is even finished. I have seen and heard lawyers throwing their clients under the bus in immigration court (when the client doesn’t speak English). There are “5 Star” lawyers who take astoundingly irresponsible shortcuts knowing it might be years before those shortcuts negatively impact the immigrant. You do not want an attorney who files an application in 24 hours (which IMO is insanity) or who overpromises and under-delivers. You want a lawyer who tells you the truth and who will effectively fight for you, not with bluster and false promises, but with a keen intellect, experience and ability. And you want your attorney to prevail while preserving your long term interests. Finally, take these google reviews with a grain of salt. Any lawyer with any ethics whatsoever has made plenty of people mad enough to leave a false review - that includes our own colleagues and clients we refuse to represent. It is preposterous to think there is even a single lawyer who is “5 star perfect.” Common sense, people.

Jeremy lasnetski is a scammer. He charges innocent clients high prices for nothing. They take advantage of your anxiety. This firm is a joke. They have a picture of state attorney on the wall and family pictures to cheat and convince you. Their only aim is to grab your money. My warn is to make comparisons before you pay them. In big cities, 80% of attorneys are scammers or of poor abilities. This firm is one of them. Btw, many of the comments below are fake like fake news.
