I am very pleased with everything he did for me. I had consistent prompt communication from him. He went above and beyond more then once for me.... including sitting at a very stressful doctors appointment. It is rare to find a lawyer who has morals and standards. I never felt like I inconvenienced him or that I couldn’t call for any reason... no matter how small. He was honest with me on all possibilities . I will always make him my first call. Mr. Kurtz notified me that his plea deal could decrease my years in prison to 54. I was a pharmacist who self-medicated and became a non-violent drug offender. Obviously, many drug laws are archaic. Mr. Kurtz kept the entire 17k retainer fee even after being fired quickly. My family hired another attorney, and I am currently serving probation with ZERO prison time.
