Literally told stories the whole consultation. Constantly interrupted me. Never got any of my questions answered. Completely wasted my time and money. I left with no info or help. Do not use her. She will take your money and not help you in any way.

After my spouse past away, Kathryn Robbie was extremely helpful in making sure I wasn't held responsible for my spouses house mortgage. The house was not in my name and didn't want to take ownership. She had contacted the banks lawyer and had to appear in court on my behalf numerous times until the matter was settled. I would highly recommend her. She is thorough and follows thru until resolution.

Kathryn was very sympathetic on the onset. She wanted to know my story from the beginning, so that she could truly understand how she could help me, unlike my last attorney. She obtained a settlement that was a fair compromise which took so much stress off of me that I truly felt hopeful about my situation. She is dependable and thorough and I am so blessed to have her as my attorney .

Kathryn represented me during my second mediation and a year later, we returned to court to seek full custody of my children. She was always available on the phone or via email and responded to me promptly, reassuring me throughout the process. I was pleased with how responsive she was to my needs, always showing her commitment to me and my children. She is an effective, smart and compassionate attorney who knows how to explain the maze of the court system in a way any layman can understand. I never felt uniformed or unaware of the next steps or potential issues. She is sensitive, thoughtful and detail oriented. Above all she is a great human being who genuinely cares for her clients. I not only found an excellent attorney but a good friend.

Kathryn Robbie is a rock solid well experienced attorney who has the ability to calmly engage your feisty ex gold digger. **Noticed a complaint against her here for not returning a email or voice call immediately and kinda chuckled wondering if the client realizes when you hire a lawyer who runs a "one woman" band she has to prioritize responses with court dockets, depo's, and meetings. ( she ignored a call in one of my meetings with her...may of been his...lol) Bottom line is with Ms Robbie you deal "DIRECTLY" with the ATTY at her practice ...there is no secretary or legal clerk telling you that the atty will get back to you, who answers in 2 rings. Highly recommend her ....absolutely no complaints from me at all! Very Happy Nassau County client

I highly respect and admire Kathryn Robbie. I have recommended countless friends, family and coworkers to this attorney, and have heard nothing but rave reviews. The only person who did not like Kathryn was a neighbor of mine who I could tell did not appreciate her ability to provide "straight talk." Kathryn is intelligent, straightforward and honest. Kathryn was highly effective in court regarding a contested alimony and custody case. Her retainer fee was in line with other attorney of equal experience. I had no issue with receiving an itemized statement, and Kathryn was very open to my questions about my bill. What I really like about Ms. Robbie was her talent in answering my tough questions about my ex husband. She always anticipated what he might say and do, and she was on the mark, practically all the time. Her experience level and calm demeanor made all the difference in my life.

I would recommend this attorney without reservation. Kathryn was intelligent, down to earth and made sure she advised me about what was happening in my case every step of the way. One thing I really noticed about her was that when I was at the courthouse with her, she knew everybody very well, and seemed very respected.

Kathryn was my attorney throughout a lengthy child custody case. She was very professional and patient with me and my needs. I live out of state and she was always available to me. She handled herself with the greatest professionalism in court. She made us feel like we were family and not just clients. Ms. Robbie was my attny. in ending a 30 year marriage which included a business ownership that needed to be settled. Ms. Robbie was very professional and kept me informed all the way along. She was very caring to me in a time of terrible upset. During mediation Ms. Robbie helped me make good decisions in a time of high emotions. I would and have recommended Ms. Robbie to several of my friends both male and female, I think very highly of her abilities as an attorney.

I disagree with these reviews. Kathryn S. Robbie was personable, helpful and knowledgeable. She was down to earth and always gave me great advice when I was stressed. I never found her fees excessive. In fact, she appears to charge far less than many others attorneys. I have had to use attorneys in the past, and have found her to be the most helpful by far.
