I was facing a possible felony charge of credit card fraud. The police showed up to my apartment and had showed me where I signed off for a fraud pick-up order. I honestly thought they were going to arrest me then and there, but they didn't. That's when I hired James. I waited roughly 4 days to hear from him about whether the lead investigator was able to put a warrant out for my arrest (since this all happened towards the end of the week). But the possibility of a warrant was shot down by a prosecutor and thrown out....it was music to my ears. And the case was essentially closed due to lack of evidence. I no longer had to think about the high chances of going to jail for a day, dishing out even more money for bond, court fees, sealing and expunging, etc. Seriously James, you're the effin' BEST and you really worked hard for me. I won't be getting in anymore trouble ever again or associating myself with this any longer.

Attorney James Paul HILL is a AMAZING lawyer , I hired him in 2015 to represent my son for two counts of second degree murder & shooting or throwing deadly missiles & when I tell you that was the Best move I could have made Mr. Hill is a AMAZING !!! During the darkest hour for my family Attorney James Hill was there for us and my teenage son. He was recommended by a friend, I called his mobile around 7:30-8pm Wednesday Jan. 6, 2016, I left a message, and he promptly returned my phone call. His approach to the case was professional, compassionate, honest, and open at all times. He always returned our emails, text, and phone calls. My son made a 14yr old foolish, illogical, "what were you thinking???" decision that could have ruined his entire life. Attorney Hill fought this case as if my son was his son, and we are grateful he was our Attorney. I pray we never need his services again, however, I know he's only a phone call, email, or text away.

Ok, so this is the first review I have ever written….not sure why since I’m an avid review reader. In fact, that is how I came across James Hill. After reading all his great reviews online, I called his office and was able to schedule an appointment with him the very next morning. I was arrested the day before on two charges, one being a felony. Hiring an attorney was new to me since I’ve never been in serious trouble with the law so I was clueless on what to expect. What I did know is that lawyers are not free, so on top of the worry over my recent arrest and the possibility of me going to jail, I was stressing on how I was going to come up with the money to pay his fee. Needless to say, I was an emotional basket case when I walked into his office the next morning. I spent the first several minutes explaining my situation and the accusations against me and he listened with empathy and understanding. I never once felt judged or that I was just another case, he genuinely made me feel like this was just as important to him as it was to me. James Hill is not only one of the coolest, kindest and most down to earth people I have ever met, he is a true professional and excellent at what he does. He doesn't make false promises just to earn your business. He took the time to properly evaluate my situation and reassured me that he would do what he could to make this as painless as possible. I hired him immediately…his fees were a lot less than I’d thought and that was another stressor that was lifted from my shoulders that day. Throughout the process he was very communicative, he returned my calls and emails immediately. He shared all of his strategies as well as told me what to expect in worst case scenario terms which was important to me because I like being prepared. And although my stress levels were really high, he always found a way to relieve my tension and make me feel hopeful and positive about the circumstances. Every time I talked to him or received an email from him, it was like the burden got that much lighter. Overall, he was able to get one of the charges dropped and had the felony reduced to a simple misdemeanor with only community service. I was more than satisfied and can't be more thankful to Mr. Hill for all his hard work. He has vast knowledge of the law and will jump through hoops to keep you out of jail. Highly recommend! Hopefully I'll never need his help again, but if I do I know I'd be in great hands.

Mr. Hill isn't like most attorneys. He took my case and handled it with care. He treated it like it was as if it were as important to him as it was to me. He treated my family and I with the utmost respect. He was always available to answer any questions with absolute honesty. He went above and beyond what I was expecting.

James was an amazing lawyer. He was very responsive, thorough and treated me with the best care. My experience with him was terrific, and a very comfortable and benefitial one. Mr. Hill has helped me through the most scariest situation of my life.. James went the extra mile for me. I was facing serious charges at that time. James absolutely did everything that needed to be done and more which in the end resulted in all my charges getting dropped and I got to keep a clean record. James didn't just act like a lawyer. James acted like a friend who genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to make sure I was ok through out my entire case. Mr. Hill came in and in 1 day, cleared my case in court. His diligence and drive made for a fast turn of release with only probation. He is a blessing and an Angel.

I hired James as counsel in two DUI cases, and both were adjudicated to my satisfaction, exceeding my expectations. I could've been charged with a felony and habitual offender and would've received a harsh sentence but he worked with the Division Chief to lessen the charges, and reducing my sentence. He also worked out a deal with the State to allow me an opportunity to participate in Work Furlough so that I wouldn't have to lose my employment. I cannot speak more highly of James, highly recommend his counsel, and I will hire him again if unfortunate circumstances arise or if I need him to represent me in non criminal situations.
