My family has worked with Mr. Porter several times over the years. Each of our experiences were different but the outcome was the same. We all had extremely positive results. I have referred many friends and family to Mr. Porter for assistance, and I will continue to highly recommend the firm to anyone in need of legal services.

We hired Mr. Porter to handle an Ineffective Counsel case for us. Unfortunately, we found HIM to be ineffective. He talked a good game when selling himself but right after we paid his fee in full, he was hard to reach; he took way too long to review documents; he did not answer e-mails or calls; was not assertive enough when obtaining information from other entities or dealing with opposing counsel; we experienced delay after delay with him. He wasted our time and money and failed us on so many levels. He did not get one solitary thing that he promised us. Extremely disappointed. Would never recommend him.

I met Jason a couple of years ago. He listened to my case and gave me the best advice, he is very knowledgeable in law. The staff is very professional and courteous. Jason is the best lawyer I have seen around town. You have a problem pick Porter!

Needless to say it did not work out as I had prayed nor as I was led to believe. Everything I was told to "expect" concerning the outcome did not happen that way. Mr. Porter and his staff were very friendly and professional but if I had it to do over again (and I pray that doesn't happen) I would have to go a different route.

The people in this office were a delight to work with, Jason, Gary, and Maureen, were all essential in getting my son’s life back. Their knowledge of the law and ability to stand tough when necessary were crucial in every aspect of winning his cases. We could never thank them enough for what they have given us, there is no price for peace of mind and family. The teamwork in this office is obvious everyone knows who you are and you are treated like family. I would highly recommend this firm.

I have to start with this. Several years ago I got divorced and hired an attorney (not Jason Porter). In the end I feel like the guy only wanted my money and really didn't push anything. In the past 6 months I have went to Jason Porter to assist me with some modifications. He didn't have a Family law attorney at the time, but one of his practices is Family Law and he was willing to take my case. After my consultation I felt he was the guy. I had a few meetings with him and I had a total different experience with him than I did with the previous attorney. Mr. Porter genuinely listens to your issues and he does not make it feel like a business transaction. I even told him that and of course he thanked me and said something to this effect. "Well you dealing with personal issues so I need to get personal with you." Mr. Porter is a very nice guy and I would highly recommend him if somebody needed an attorney. If I ever have the need for an attorney again, I am picking Porter Law Firm. Since I hired him, a new family law attorney was added to the firm. I worked with Mr. Porter over a period of time and found him to be exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring. The process was tedious, but he kept me informed and walked me through any issues or questions I had. He is very nice, professional and easy to talk to. I really appreciated how he handled everything for me. I would highly recommend Mr. Porter if you are looking for an attorney who cares about you...( and not just your money).

My son is a college student in Jacksonville, while my wife and I live out of state. We didn't know any Jacksonville lawyers, but had to find one quickly when our son was arrested for a serious criminal charge. I was hesitant to use the web to find a lawyer, but that's how we found Mr. Porter. It was a weekend -- things like this never happen at a convenient time -- yet Mr. Porter returned our call within the hour. He calmed our nerves, helped us get Matt bonded out of jail, and told us what to expect as the case unfolded. Within a few days, we flew in to meet with Mr. Porter in his office. He was professional and courteous, and we felt he cared about his clients and their cases. It took about six months before Matt's case was over, but given the circumstances, the result was very good. The original charge, a felony, was reduced significantly and later sealed. I hate to say it, but Matt did do something stupid. Fortunately, we found a professional who knew how to fix it and, now, Matt's poor judgement won't keep him from the future he wants for himself. Our experience with Mr. Porter was very good and we expect yours will be the same. Highly recommend.

Two years ago our family became involved in a difficult situation. A member of our family was facing something that could have changed his future and possibilities in life. I called an attorney that had handled a family law issue years previously, and did not receive even a call back. I am sure my messages sounded desperate and urgent, yet not even a call until one week later asking did I get the issue resolved. Early the same morning I called a friend who recommended Jason. I called on a Saturday morning leaving the same message and he called back within the hour. He explained the process to me and what would be happening over the next 24 hours. The fact that he called, and so quickly, explaining each step helped our family understand how important certain things were and what were the best things for us to do. Most of all, his reassurance and calmness helped our family in what was a very stressful time. Jason did not sugar coat or make promises that he could not deliver. The outcome was just what he had mentioned on the first visit...it could have been so much worse. Jason said something that has stayed with me - “good people sometimes end up in not good situations” Since then, Jason’s practice has taken care of a family law matter for me and I have recommended several friends who have had wonderful experiences as well. The best way to explain the type of attorney Jason is would be to say not typical of the stereotype. He does not over promise and returns calls personally - he never once will treat you like a case instead of a person. Wrap all that into someone who is very knowledgeable and you get Jason.

Mr. Porter helped me in 2010 with a Breach of Contract case in which he was able to recover my earned commissions from my former employer. Mr. Porter was very friendly and knowledgable in the area of Non Compete agreements which allowed for a quick settlement from my former employer. The staff was great and addressed my issues and questions in a timely fashion. I would recommend Mr. Porter to anyone that has a case in the areas he practices in.
