Let me start this out by saying we all make mistakes, I can acknowledge mine, after all I did need a lawyer.... however, my file was lost the first or second day on the case, then again over a zoom conversation where it was "found in the CLOSED cases" ... then the summons was filed with the header "dissolution of marriage"....... I was never married to her and should have know that had they had my file/s......concern was expressed. received a phone call from legal aid whom started to apologize and told me that it didn't matter As i attempted to express my concerns,(using no derogatory or degrading terms or language) I was repeatedly talked over to the point I could not get a word in. Apparently the phone connection was bad so i call from another phone which apparently was bad too, so I told her that we could discuss it when I showed up to review the and make changes to my financial affidavit that we had scheduled the day prior.....as well as make some corrections. After taking off from my job early to make it to my appointment i arrived and was seated in Roberts office where I was told he was stepping down as my lawyer due to Me" blowing things out of proportion".....and me "needing to have my hand held" followed by several other backhanded and completely ironic remarks. I gladly excepted, knowing that something as important as my future with my kid was clearly in the wrong hands.

Seeking POA for my dad who has dementia. First of all when I called for an appointment, I asked do you handle POA the assistant said yes. When I get there Mr. Woods states he doesn’t have enough experience with POAs. Then he judges me as if I’m taking advantage of my dad. Where the hell does he get off with that. I need it to make medical decisions for my dad. Years ago my dad added my name to his house and bank account because he always said if anything happens to me I don’t won’t you to have any problems. So how am I taking advantage? He made that decision long ago while he was in his right state of mind. I never asked for that. That consult was a waste of my time. It could have been handled over the phone.

Bob Wood is a contentious attorney and I recommend him highly.

Women wanting a divorce stay away from this Attorney. Find someone else, you will get screwed over. Save your money...his office will take your money but not do anything for you and put you off on the telephone. This guy is a joke.
