I heard about Gerald Wilkerson via word of mouth from a friend over 3 years ago. Since then, he has handled 3 family law matters for me and each time has handled them with compassion, understanding and critical thinking. The most recent two cases were very high stakes and included some work during the appeals process as an appellee. One of the things that impresses me about him so much is he is very objective, realistic and up front with you. He explained all the positives and negatives of what could happen during each case, and he doesn’t tell you what you want to hear just for the sake of it. He suggested strategies for each scenario and did a good job of keeping me informed on a consistent basis. During the course of my cases Jerry anticipated opposing council’s moves and explained them to me in “Layman’s terms” of what each move meant. As others have also mentioned, Mr. Wilkerson's fees are very reasonable, particularly for the amount of work that was involved. He doesn’t try to “nickel & dime” you like so many other firms do. I would absolutely recommend Jerry as he is friendly, approachable, very knowledgeable, and professional. Last but certainly not least he is fantastic in the courtroom and thinks very quickly on his feet. Me and my family consider him a friend who will always fight for you. Anytime I have called Gerald he has either always answered or gotten back to me in a timely manner. He always has the answers to my questions immediately. Gerald is extremely straightforward, he gives me the truth even if it's not necessarily the answer I want to hear. His ethics are outstanding. I had the pleasure of being introduced to Mr. Wilkerson from a close friend who also was a client. From the very start Mr. Wilkerson immediately immersed himself into my case. When it came time for negotiations, Mr. Wilkerson was able to get the opposing council to settle for much less than what was at stake. He litterally saved me tens of thousands of dollars. I also want to mention that for the amount of legal services I received, I expected to pay a lot. I'm happy to report that Mr. Wilkerson's fee's are extremely reasonable considering the amount of work that he and his office staff did on my case. Mr. Wilkerson is friendly, well read, extremely informed, well connected and professional. He's also a great patriot and a fellow veteran who proudly served in the Army. I am going to continue to use his legal services in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of the best legal services available.

Mr.Wilkerson handled a criminal case for my son. He always kept us informed, responded quickly and soothed my nerves. He went above and beyond to help my son learn a life lesson without a lifetime of consequences. I will always be grateful for him helping my young son get a second chance.

I was very happy with this attorney. I had a previous lawyer who had only been doing family cases for a couple of years. He made more problems for me than help me. Mr. Wilkerson had to fix his problems and I thought he did a great job.

The office has moved to the Everbank building downtown Jacksonville & I thought that would be an issue but I have never had a problem with parking & it is actually more convenient.

I recommend Mr. Wilkerson. He finished my case quickly, answered my questions, and didn't charge me for every little thing. I was very satisfied with the results of my case. I hired an attorney before who charged me for every phone call, and I emailed Mr. Wilkerson a few times and always returned my emails and didn't charge me. I was impressed.
