Do not use them. From the very start it was a nightmare. I had 2 cases with them and the first case they just decided they weren’t going to work on until I called asking about what was going on with it. And her excuse was, well when the second case was open I figured I would only work on that one. The second case, that they were supposedly focusing on was nothing but a giant circus. All they did was say they need more money, more money, more money with no results. Then they said we would have to go back to court again because they didn’t receive the documents requested so I said stop working on the case, we’re just going to settle everything ourself, all of a sudden they did receive the documents and (after I said stop working on the case) they have to process all the documents, which means they also get to charge me for all the time it took. It also makes me wonder how many times they received what was requested and said they didn’t just so I would have to keep paying them with no results. Don’t trust them, they are not here to help you.

Lindsey Fields is a caring, dedicated, and hardworking. She always puts the clients first. I would want her as my attorney no matter the circumstances.

My attorney was Charlean M. She presented herself as confident, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Let me tell you she did not disappoint. Charlean kept me informed every step of the way, helping me to find a successful outcome. If you are facing a divorce, she's who you want on your side. I highly recommend her.

I got ripped off by them. Started with my mother contacting them about my uncles property. Then I filled out paperwork, got my family to fill out forms then was contacted by several different people saying they were working on it. Next I know they say they need more money, never even telling me how much. The biggest joke as I never had anything settled but they took my family for around three grand. I still have no idea who did what there as I was shuffled so much. Now my mom has died, my brother just passed and I’m without anything. They didn’t even have the decency to send me back the money for something they never did.

I dealt with the worst lawyer I thought I could’ve ever come into contact with. Her empathy for children that have been abused does not exist. I should’ve known she wasn’t experienced enough to take my case as she is not even listed on their website as a practicing lawyer. I had extreme high hopes for this law firm. I hope she doesn’t ruin any other kids lives going forward. I had to request she be removed from my case all together. This law firm should definitely remove J Runyan from the firm!

Have used Debbie Clark at Owenby Law many times and have been very pleased with her and her attention to detail and caring manner in which she handled things. Ms. Clark has also handled legal matters for several of my family members who are also pleased and we all continue to refer her to others.

Natalie is a wonderful listener, and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. I highly recommend her.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with three different attorneys in this practice. Each one was more useless and ineffective than the last. They are quite possibly the most unethical people I have ever dealt with anywhere. No awareness of interstate custody issues. An inability to recognize limitations in their experience. HORRIBLE passive aggressive communication, if they even took the time to respond at all. Motions were filed that I never received. Billed for things that I was not even aware occured. Things finally came to a head when I was advised by associate attorney Lauren Carroll Spitznagle to cooperate with very questionable procedures. AVOID THIS FIRM. FIND SOMEONE ELSE. ANYONE.

Ms. Debbie at Owenby Law was such a great help during our free consultation. I recently lost my mother and reached out to the firm to get some understanding of what I needed to do.
