I had an account that I was blocked out, unable to access. The company did not provide any electronic, mail or telephonic correspondence about the account. I found myself in a court action totally unaware and unprepared. I wanted a local attorney to handle the matter and selected First Coast. They have been exceptional in handling the matter and have saved me hundreds of dollars. My initial concern with my first encounter of litigation was, “am I throwing good money after bad”, we always hear that the only winners in law, are the lawyers. Not in this case my money was well spent and I received quality service and value.

I had an issue trying to cancel a contract for work to be done on our property and tried to be reasonable with contractor to get a a fair amount of the money back that had been paid for deposit. It turned into the worst nightmare for us, contractor put lien on our property after the fact of request to cancel contract and refused to give any of our money back. We called many attorney's to help us and they basically laughed it off that it was a waste of their time and that it would be easier for us to work with contractor and talk it out to resolve it especially since no work had been done. My wife called First Coast Consumer Law and met with Ryan and he agreed to help us. Once Ryan started dealing with the contractor he completely understood why we were having an issue. Ryan was amazing and helped us get a majority of our money back and for the lien to be removed off of our property. Ryan is very professional, responds quickly and cares about YOU. It's hard to find attorney's that focus on their clients like Ryan does and that's why we highly recommend him to our friends and family. I also want to give a big thank you to Ryan's Assistant Jeannine she was so sweet and very helpful during the whole process.

Great job by Ryan! He was efficient, clear in communications and kept his "word" on every issue over which I had concerns. Everything he told me came to pass and I trusted him, with good results.
