I was arrested for a DUI in December of 2016, and referred to Mr. Willis's firm from a credible source stating they were the best. We went to a jury trial and won with a Not Guilty verdict in May 2017. There was a lady in our apartment complex who was being beat by her husband outside. My wife called for me and I responded by going outside and physically restraining him until the police arrived. I was subsequently arrested for hitting the husband with a baseball bat several times. Since I used a bat I was charged with felony (F3) Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon. I was given an outrageous bond, due to a previous record when I was younger, with very little hope at all of getting out of the charges. David Willis and his group of professionals were able to convince the State Attorney's Office to drop all charges without prejudice. It is over and I don't have to worry about probation or anger management courses. He called this morning and said I no longer had a court date my charges were dismissed! If you need a lawyer you can trust, that can be aggressive when need be, if you have any legal problem the folks at David Willis are the ones to call!
