I have retained Mr. Story on several occasions and been very pleased with his service. He and the staff were very professional. Mr. Story was very supportive and compassionate when dealing with a very difficult and emotional case with our bankruptcy. I have recommended him to several personal friends.

My wife had some serious disputes with one of her first Landlords in 2004 To the point that we needed to move her business. The landlord filed for a judgement against her, We were referred to Max by a friend. The best option at the time was Bankruptcy financially. though she was extremely upset with the whole situation, Max made the entire process smooth and effective. unfortunately this large landlord here in town is relentless, so periodically Max has had to step in and resolve issues even during 2020. we have also referred Max to other friends and family throughout the years with every situation being handled in wonderful fashion. I first came to Max about 5 years ago seeking consumer law advice due to some complications from from a foreclosure and other financial issues that dated back to the 2008 housing crises. He was very generous and understanding of my situation and gave me sage advice on several occasions, despite the fact that I hadn't retained him as an attorney (yet). He went way out of his way to help, when he certainly wasn't obligated to. Fast forward to 2017, several things happened and I found myself 100% in-need of a consumer protection attorney. Mr. Story was the only one on my list due to how nice and generous he was in the years prior. We actually had several cases come out of the woodwork from 2017 to 2018 and he and his team worked hard to get me out of the legal mess I found myself in. Max worked hard for me and we won favorable outcomes in all instances! My legal woes are now behind me and I can honestly say Max isn't just a really good attorney, he's a good friend and it feels great knowing that I have a friend like Max Story. My family and I are very grateful for the work Max did, words can't describe how amazing it was to watch Max turn it all around when things looked pretty bleak for us. I would recommend him to anybody and everybody. He's a stand-up guy who really does care and this is obvious in his work.

I was referred to Attorney Story by three other attorneys, so I knew I would be in good hands. The office is convenient, offering a local beach office in adddition to an office near the courthouse. Mr. Story was attentive and knew a lot about my case. He did not charge me anything and recovered me $1,000.00 in damages from the collection company!

Friendly staff - excellent law firm. Collection companies were harassing me at work, Mr Story made them stop and pay for the trouble they caused. Rita is very nice and always made me feel welcome.

Mr. Story's staff were very helpful and courteous when I called for help with my case. Attorney Story explained the law to me and that what those collection companies were doing was illegal. He also was able to get me compensated for the aggravation that they were causing me at work. I am so glad I called him, he is really friendly and very knowledgeable about the law.
