Alan is an exceptional attorney. He is organized and efficient. He has two associate attorneys, Daniel Lewis, Esquire and Taylor Overman, Esquire that have extensive experience, effectiveness and compassion. I am a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and practiced criminal law there for over 14 years. I moved to Key West and not being licensed in Florida but still wantin to work in the legal field I interviewed with the Key West Criminal Defense. Despite having other options, I chose Attorney Fowler’s firm for their (Alan, Daniel and Taylor’s) knowledge of the law, expertise and compassion to their clients. In the short time Inhavebbeen working with this firm many motions filed have been granted and many charges have been successfully resolved, some even being dismissed. I am also a business owner in Key West. I have been for 2 1/2 years, so I understand the need for respect to the locals and tourists. The biggest thing Alan was seeking in an employee aside from the requisite education and experience, was compassion for others. He said “one mistake in judgment should not ruin a person’s life.” One Human Family!

Alan is an excellent attorney and has a very responsive staff. Alan runs a tight ship.

Good attorney I'll give him that, he's a General when it comes to getting charges dropped lower. But he's way overpriced, 10k for VOP and sales charge. You could get another Ge neral for half or even a quarter of that price, $2500 to $5k. He and his office were awful communicators especially when you're locked up. If you're seeking legal representation for someone who's actively incarcerated DO NOT hire him. Honestly there are other well known lawyers who are straight beasts in the court room who charge, like I said, a quarter or half of what he charges. He's nice guy but you should only hire him if you're looking at doing at least a 5 year bid in state prison. He's used to taking offenders who are out on bond and have a lot of money to blow. If you are both of those go ahead and retain his services, otherwise, in the keys there are at least a handful of other lawyers I've seen in action do the same or better job for less money.

Alan did a lot to help me out. Even though he deals primarily with criminal law, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great advice concerning my civil case. Would highly recommend he and his team.
