As majority of people I never excerpted to one day find myself filing for chapter 7 (keep in mind I never had a late payment or financial problems in the past), before filing I did have meetings with 10 different lawyers and unfortunately got 10 different answers making it very difficult to choose. I Am glad I did not make a decision base on price alone since Mr.Alper was somewhat more expensive but for some reason I felt more comfortable ( one reason I felt better was because Mr. Alper had all answers without need to research difficult subjects like the other 9 firms I had meetings with told me when I asked questions that was not a basic chapter 7 topic) especially because my situation included a complicated business debt structure and multiple property's potentially at risk if not filed properly. (To give you an idea of how difficult my case was it took over a year from filing to close) The confirmation I made the right decision come at the Meeting with the Trustee, Mr Alper meet me in court and we witness 3 other people interviewed before I did and I can tell you I become very nervous once I saw the trustee extra questioning because of sloppy paperwork and lack of awareness regarding certain details of each case ,then was my turn. Trustee examined our paperwork asked me 3 questions and told us to have a good day, I now can tell that was only because the paperwork Jackie help me complete had all the info the Trustee needed at the time and made all the difference compare to the people interviewed before. Fast forward I did received an email from Jackie couple days back with the Closing Order attached and now is finally over ,the moral of the story this is not the time to value experience over cost if you looking for to put a bad chapter in your life behind and have the fresh start you looking for. Call this law firm to ask a question about my tenants that have notified me that I need to have eviction notice and a failure to pay a victim notice and a Nother evection notice of the termination of lease that I handed to them they told me couple days later that I needed the stuff notarized and asked this representative of this law firm that this female representative told me that she is not going to give me any type of legal advice because I am not being represented by them I and since I informed her that I have gotten some advice from the courthouse because I need to do the filing from the courthouse and spoke to one of their attorneys to fill out the form correctly that again she told me that since I am not getting any services from this law firm that she told me to go to the courthouse or that attorney that I spoke to and get their help now I don't know what type a law firm this law firm is but for a secretary your representative or phone service person that this law firm to tell somebody to go take a hike basically to go to get legal advice from the places that you have already have and not be represented by this law firm which I probably would've if the representative was courteous enough to give me something information on what steps I need to next and if that did not work then I would be hiring law firm to represent me instead of her saying since you're representing yourself that we do not want to help you since you are representing yourself that we do not have any more time to spend on the phone to chat with you or give you any information on what to do next And this phone representative didn't even tell me what the Heather law firm really does so I would not recommend this law firm to anyone until they get rid of that phone representative secretary or receptionist whatever title that she has since she's a rude person
