Matt and Karen did a great job for me with a complicated and contentious year long divorce. Matt understood my financial situation and helped me to settle with mediation. I fired my first lawyer because he said it couldnt get done. Matt got it done. You will want to get Martell on your side because you dont want him on the other side!

Matthew Martell represented me in a divorce settlement. I was very impressed by his knowledge of the law. He was also always compassionate towards me as his client. I was upset, traumatized, and angry due to my divorce. His calm manner was very appreciated and helped me to put things into perspective. He would always return my calls or emails and answered all of my legal questions. I can’t say enough about how good of a divorce attorney he is. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a divorce lawyer in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

In the costliest negotiation meeting of my life, Matthew Martell made absolutely no effort to improve the terms of my divorce settlement. He made not a single counteroffer. Only because I spoke up for myself in the meeting did I get a reduction in alimony of 30%. This does not fit the ABA's mandate to act with "zeal in advocacy upon the client's behalf." After the meeting, he wanted me to give him a 5-rating. He raised his rates twice (over 14%) in less than nine months. But his bills had impressive details. Would I hire him again? No, no, no.

Extremely personal! I didn’t want to go through a huge corporation and get the run around. I wanted a local, great law office-and that’s exactly what I got!
