Ms. Chalfant took on my difficult case when no other attorney wanted to touch it. With most attorneys they like the cases with “ low hanging fruit” that are more than likely to be won. She took my case all the way to trial with a jury and won a favorable decision with them. This wasn’t an easy straightforward forward case, but she did a great job in getting me justice!! I would and have recommended her to friends and family.

I would recommend Marjorie to anyone needing a good, dedicated attorney. The fact that she is also a nurse overwhelms me. She has to earn CEUs in order to keep her license current. This is a woman who is dedicated to what she does. She won't take a case she doesn't think she can win. I sought her out after my premature daughter died. This was 26 days after I went to the E.R. and was treated for a kidney infection or stone when I was actually in labor the entire day. My doctor and the nurses seemed to be in shock when an ultra sound showed that the baby was crowning. Baby Girl died 26 days later from "extreme prematurity." Marjorie won a settlement from my doctor but hasn't stopped there. It's been a very long and costly battle with the hospital but Marjorie hasn't quit. She is dedicated as I stated earlier. I've seen her in action and she has no problem standing her ground against arrogant doctors. In fact, she taught my former doctor a thing or two he didn't know.

My experience with Ms. Marjorie Chalfant in reference to our medical malpractice case is phenomenal, a very complex and highly challenging case that was turned down by several lawyers from the start. Nobody wants to handle/accept this case since it requires a lot of resources and extensive studying, some says its an uphill climb. Several of our expert witnesses turn their back when they reach the stand, ergo, making the case more complicated and very risky. To complicate further, most of the witnesses lives outside of the United States and requires a lot of financial resources, planning and strategy just to continue the litigation that took us more than 4 years. With all this hindrances, it did not stop Marjorie to pursue this litigation, she believes that a just and fair compensation should be awarded to us, her client. We settled the case in a very favorable and comfortable amount of compensation thus for me tantamount to winning a verdict..More power to you Marjorie..
