She is intelligent. caring, supportive. She was my 3rd Attorney on this case. She accomplished everything in 1 1/ 2 yrs. She was instrumental getting supervised visitation changed to unsupervised with overnights. she filed a notice to intervene amd successfully changed custody over to me. She accompanied me to staffings court appearances and review hearings. I was approved to adopt. She handled all the adoption work thoroughly. It was a pleasant experience .We are blessed and very happy. I highly recommend Jarica Cairns for all your family law needs.

I would never recommend her as an attorney to anyone, she never returned my calls but Would instantly call me when my exes attorney reached out to her to find out what was going on and then not do a damn thing about it! More damages was done from her, all that money paid and my psycho of an ex got the good hand of the deal, and now my kids have to deal with it because of Jarica's screw up and lack of work done with my case.

As a father seeking sole custody, it can be a difficult journey. Like many people in need of a lawyer I went online to see which attorneys offered free consultations. The good news was that most lawyers give these free consultations although to my dismay, I wasn’t really on the same page as any one of them. That is until my call back from Jarica Cairns. It became very clear to me only 5 minutes into the conversation that Jarica was extremely bright, sharp, knew the law exceptionally well and was very caring. Our initial consultation was quite lengthy and at no point did she try and rush me off the phone. I felt like for the first time I had someone by my side that was going to give her all to get the results I wanted. My situation was that I was trying to have my ex’s petition to modify child support dismissed since he filed in Florida and none of us are residents of Florida. While every other attorney tried to convince me to keep it in Florida and that it would be too complicated to dismiss, Jarica immediately said to me, “Florida has no subject matter jurisdiction” end of story. Jarica came prepared for our day in court. She managed to tear through my ex’s paltry attempt at claiming Florida domicile in addition to submitting appropriate case law. End result: His petition to modify child support was dismissed for lack of subject matter Jurisdiction which is exactly what Jarica had told me in our initial consultation.
