Mr Shoemaker was very personable, took an extremely proactive interest in my case and resolved it quickly. Joe was readily available for calls, answered emails quickly, exceptionally reasonable billing for his work and will always have my trust, loyalty and lifelong THANKS for his dedication to my case and resolving it to our total satisfaction. Never in the 35++ years I was an employer have we had such a professional and skillful and personable attorney who I now consider a friend.

Hire Joe!!! One of the best attributes I admire most in any profession is Honesty and Professionalism. Joe is definitely both; not only is he very well verse in Contract Employment laws, but he is clear, concise, and upfront with facts. He will tell you the things you need to hear, and not what you want to hear. He addresses YOUR concerns and works for YOU, and definitely does not run up the bill unnecessarily. I have known Joe for many years. He is a person of the highest integrity. As a professional, he is committed, hard working, efficient and a great communicator. Simply put, I was falsely accused of 'assault' of a supervisor and if it wasn't for Mr. Joe Shoemaker, my career as a middle school teacher in Florida would have summarily ended. The Department of Education was prepared to revoke my certification without even being charged with anything at the local level. Everything you may need is explained up front with options on how to proceed and does not waste any of your time running up a bill. His knowledge and experience from start to finish in contracts and agreements along with litigation is impeccable. He is always available for you when you have questions. When researching which attorney to hire, Mr. Shoemaker hits every mark you need to look for. Communication skills, judgement, analytical skills, research skills, people skills, perseverance, and creativity. I highly recommend Mr Shoemaker as a competent advocate.

I think he is honest about what legal avenues are available, and gives input that may lead to an actual argument for your situation that may have not come to mind. In my situation I was not thinking that maybe being over 50, and or my being white may have a bearing why I did not get a certain position. Though if you look at the other candidate that did, it wasn't base on experience as they are a new grad, but in their 20's and a different race. So there is that possibility that these two criteria may have been used against me in determining who got the position.
