A few months ago my grandson and I were out fishing in Long Key when FWC approached us and checked our fish collar. Unknowingly, my grandson caught 4 fishes out of size. I was charged per fish and was given a court date. I immediately contacted attorney Sherry Jones on a Saturday and forwarded her all the paperwork given to me on the scene. From that day forward we had multiple conversations over text, phone and email. Every time reassuring me that everything would be ok. She was always one step ahead and had extensive knowledge and experience in this matter. Thanks to Attorney Sherry Jones our case was dismissed. This was a huge learning point for me and I'm sure with our Attorney Jones on my case the outcome would have been different. For anyone needing legal assistance in marathon, Key West I recommend Attorney Sherry Jones with all your needs. You won't be disappointed and you will be glad you fired her to represent you in your time of need.

Sherry gave me excellent advice in dealing with my son's misdemeanor charge for underage drinking. The officer told him he only needed to pay a fine, but Sherry rightfully advised that if he did do, he would be pleading guilty to a misdemeanor conviction and would have to disclose it on job applications. We were able to obtain a deferred prosecution and avoid any significant penalty. Sherry was generous with her time and gave us her personal attention.

After having been married to a retired military man for 37 years, before, during and after his retirement their were many issues to be considered in the division of property, assets and benefits. Ms. Jones was an outstanding lawyer who was though and professional, on top of every situation and always available to answer all my questions. She made this difficult process for me as painless as possible. I would recommend her to everyone. She is a first rate lawyer with a caring heart!

I worked with Sherry while she was with the Florida Department of Children and Families. The manner in which she dealt with the numerous clients was both professional and sincere. I can recommend her without reservation.

In my dealing with the need of an attorney, I was very impressed with Ms. Jones knowledge and assistance in a very trying matter. The moment she was involved, the case was handled properly and the judge listened. My charges were reduced and I am very thankful for the reduction, as this could have cost thousands of extra dollars over the process or course of 3 years.

Sherry Jones was very knowledgeable and handled my son's misdemeanor battery case with confidence and expertise. In addition to the alleged victim's statements, the police had a video of my son admitting to forcing her out of his car. The video also showed my son sitting on top of the alleged victim (and not allowing her to move) as the police vehicle pulled up to the scene. Although the alleged victim was a female, Ms Jones listened to our statements and immediately understood that my son was actually the victim in this case. She clearly explained what the prosecution would have to prove and that my son's defense would be self-defense and preventing property damage. Ms Jones gave us a list of what evidence we would need to provide, and also suggested some witnesses we might wish to have testify. She also patiently listened to all of my "Law and Order" legal mumbo-jumbo and judiciously advised us on what evidence was relevant and what was not (which ultimately saved me a lot of time and money on subpoenas, etc.) My son was offered a plea bargain up-front, but Ms Jones advised us to decline this initial offer, since she was sure that we would either get a better offer or win the case at trial. Judging by the discovery evidence that was exchanged between our lawyer and the prosecutor, it became increasingly obvious that Ms Jones was compiling a much stronger case than the prosecution had. However, on the weekend prior to jury selection, the prosecution offered a very tempting plea bargain offer. My son knew he was innocent, but he still wanted to avoid jail time. Ms Jones was very confident that she had prepared a winning case, so we declined the offer, or as the presecutor later stated, we "called his bluff." Ms Jones held several private conferences with the prosecutor, insisting that he drop the case. She explained our defense strategy, and gave examples of the many discrepancies in the alleged victim's statements. Finally, on the day of jury selection, the prosecutor decided not to prosecute, and the case was dismissed. Bravo, Sherry Jones!
