After the central Brevard hail storm of March 2019, my insurance company felt that they should only pay to replace half of my damaged roof. My name is Dr. Mitchell Greenberg. I am/was a Chiropractor for 37 years. Unfortunately, I have had 31 musculoskeletal surgeries, am scheduled for as many as 10 more and have had about 10 other surgeries to my eyes, my heart, etc, as well as 3 heart attacks and on and on. So, disabled, right, no question. But wait, not so easy. Unfortunately at the advice of “experts” 35 years ago when I didn’t know any better and when I had no idea how well my career would go or how much money I might make, I purchased a number of disability insurance policies that I was assured would take care of any future possible issues should I become disabled. Well, after my 31 surgeries and 88 epidural injections, I fought as long and as hard as I could to try to keep working but finally had to admit that I was no longer Superman and had to stop practicing. No problem though, they told me that I had great disability insurance and clearly I was disabled. Well, after 3-6 attorneys looked at my policies and all told me that my policies did NOT cover me under my specific coverages. So, my wife and I gave up trying. So, horribly disabled, paying for coverage on about 6 policies for 35 years BUT TOO BAD, NO BENEFITS available for me. BUT wait, on the referral of another excellent attorney, Andrew Pickett (personal injury law), I was referred to Michael Sapourn. Thank God. Besides Michael being as nice a person as you could meet, it turned out that he was also an incredibly knowledgeable disability attorney with vast insurance knowledge after decades in the insurance business himself. So, after being incredibly helpful in reading and understanding my policies that as many as 6 other disability attorneys all told me were useless to me, Mr. Sapourn not only carefully and expertly read all of my policies, explained them to my wife and I (in English, not in legalese or in insurance mumbo jumbo) and took his valuable time and helped walk us through filling out all of the otherwise painstakingly volumes of policies, took care of communicating with my insurance companies AND YES, ACTUALLY MADE SURE THAT THE INSURANCE COMPANIES PAID ALL THAT THEY WERE LEGALLY SUPPOSED TO. Wow, not only were we treated like part of his family or as if we were best friends for years but he also put all of these other supposed expert attorneys to shame. Mike changed our lives making our future lives better than we had ever even hoped. In just a few short months, large checks came in from multiple companies with monthly checks to follow. I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Sapourn. A real professional who truly cares about his clients and fights for your rights and changes lives in a positive way that we had no idea that we were entitled to. He took us from hopeless to cared for and taken care of. We can’t thank him enough. I hired Mr. Mike Sapourn after my insurance company, Fed Nat, denied my homeowner's insurance claim. My home is only a few years old and was damaged from the hailstorm that hit Indialantic March, 2019. After nearly a year of battling the insurance company-which included me having video tape of the hailstorm doing the damage to my home-Fed Nat still denied it because their adjustor said it was caused by "foot traffic on the roof" (which is 2 story and 28' high). So I hired a public adjustor. That went nowhere after 5 months. I finally turned to Mike Sapourn and he got this settled in only 2 months for the full amount I needed. He did an AMAZING job, fully explained everything and what would happen, proactively updated me with what was going on, and made it so easy on me to get this done! I should have contacted him first when the insurance company initially denied the claim.
