It was a journey and because of Stabinski I learned many things about the law when it comes to insurance, home owners associations and most of all the amount of mental stress that comes with the litigation process. I’m so happy that we stayed with Stabinski. Everyone working on my case from the receptionist to the attorneys, assistants, paralegals and all the other staff titles they exist never gave up. The Insurance Company left us no alternative but to hire legal representation concerning our Hurricane Ian claim filed September 28, 2022. The Insurance company had decided not to communicate through our Public Adjuster for almost 12 months concerning the insurance claim and this left us only two alternatives; just go away or hire legal representation. We received a small amount of money in the beginning, but then communication from the Insurance Company stopped. Funds provided from them did not even cover living expenses nor repair the extensive damage on the residence. The Insurance Company was notified through our Public Adjuster that we were fixing the residence to re-occupy and sent documentation concerning cost. Still no response from the Insurance Company. They then closed the claim, even though the Public Adjuster was still trying to communicate with them. We moved back into the residence and cut off the cost of an apartment and associated expenses. Once we hired the Stabinski Law firm, they woke the Insurance Company up with a notification letter and the settlement process started. Approximately 10 months later, the Insurance Company settled. They were forced to actually address the damage done to the residence (extensive photo documentation), all the prior estimates and what it took to repair it under our plan of coverage. The Stabinski Law firm was easy to work with and was always available to communicate with, via phone/txt or e-mail. They never delayed in pursuing the claim. They understand the games the Insurance Companies use to delay legitimate claims. The fee charged was reasonable considering the sizable settlement claim obtained.
