We took a direct hit from Hurricane Michael in Lynn Haven, Florida, in 2018 and needed to hire an attorney to resolve our and my elderly parents’ insurance claims. After speaking with several law firms, we chose the The Stabinski Law Firm. Attorney Todd Stabinski took the time to speak with me directly and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I have worked with the legal community for years in my career and recognized that Attorney Todd Stabinski was extremely knowledgeable in handling Hurricane claims. Attorney Leidy Cuervo came on board and worked tirelessly with Todd Stabinski on our cases. They were always accessible and easy to work with. Although they are located in South Florida and we are in the Panhandle of Florida, we never felt that this was a problem. They came to us when needed and always kept us informed of every aspect of our cases. In all, we felt they were both highly skilled and experienced attorneys. Our financial stability was at risk and we were willing to take our cases all the way to a trial. At no time did Todd or Leidy attempt to discourage us from having our day in court. Instead, they worked hard and prepared our cases to go to trial. They spent endless hours working with us through the litigation process. It was apparent to us that they were working to win our cases, not just settle them for less, and always had our best interest at heart. We had no doubt that they would prevail and that they did! Our home in the lower Keys sustained quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, our wind insurer, who had been paid premiums on a timely basis for a number of years, would not even respond to our calls. After a year of efforts on our part, we retained Stabinski & Funt to help us. Dan Caine worked with us to obtain a settlement that we are happy with. Dan & his team were such a pleasure to work with. Attorney Todd Stabinski is a modern day Sherlock Holmes. He accomplished (with aplomb) what two other Lawyers failed at miserably. He brought my perpetrator to justice on a trail that had grown cold.
