I caught a case trying to remove a squatter. My friend Omar referred me to Scott. It wasn't until I saw Scott in action at court that we realized how extremely knowledgeable he was to all the laws pertaining to the case. His level of expertise smacked the other attorney in the face. He had my restraining order case dismissed. The victim showed up to court with makeup like a panda, she tried to exaggerate. She even tried to put a witness that was not present, on the stand. She put her 94+ elderly mom (through misery) on the stand and Scott went straight to the point cutting out all the bs. Scott is highly recommended for his honest and hard work.

Scott Kotler represented me in my bogus civil domestic violence case, which also had a related criminal case (dropped) and divorce case. I contacted every domestic violence lawyer in Miami. Except for Scott, they were all slow - in every way - and they showed minimal warmth, friendliness, or interest in my case. I emailed Scott's website on a Sunday morning and he immediately got back to me while in the middle of shopping. We had a proper phone consultation later that day and he immediately wanted to dig into my case and get up to speed on everything. He was officially hired days later. What should have been a simple TRO case quickly turned into a drawn-out 3-month ordeal as other lawyers became involved and my battle was being fought in multiple jurisdictions. Out of my team of three lawyers, I will say Scott Kotler had the most unbeatable communication. He always got back to me very quickly, even at night and on weekends (I don't know how he does that). He checked-in and kept in touch during the long periods between hearings. And stayed up-to-date on the activities in my other cases. Scott integrated seamlessly into my legal team, naturally taking on a leadership role and working collaboratively with my other lawyers in carefully navigating through this overall mess In the end, it was in the interests of both parties to settle the issue privately. I did not get the epic Hollywood victory I fantasized about - but I did substantially improve my position in this long fight, while the other side was forced give up substantial ground. Scott won the negotiation ultimately because we were more prepared and willing to go into a hearing. I much better off now. Scott took a genuine personal interest in my case, he knew the pain I was going through, and I absolutely feel that my fight became his fight - and I've never even met the guy in-person! Always sharp, always prompt, always prepared, always looking ahead, and always easy to deal with.
