She's probably the worst mediator in Florida. She is rude, unprofessional and incompetent in her job. I had a case where I was pro se Plaintiff in forma pauperis so I was not supposed to make a payment for my case accepted by the federal judge. Judge ordered mediation and unfortunately, I selected this woman. I wish I had selected another mediator. During mediation, she defended other party and she did everything to make me see how I don't have a case and make me feel like I'm a loser. Of course, we couldn't agree to settle because she did nothing to help with the case. Then she demanded money from me. I didn't even know I am supposed to pay because it's a forma pauperis case. Since then, she's chasing me to collect $500. She called me and after I told her how she was awful during mediation and that I didn't even know that I was supposed to pay to her, she said this conversation is over. Well, you called me and you're lucky that I'm not a rude person like you and I answered your call. Do not call me and harass me again! I'm surprised that you studied law. You have no clue about what you're doing.

Lawyer Karen Evans carries herself very unprofessionally over the phone, is rude and condescending and impatient. Extremely rude but it makes sense since she is middle aged and is probably menopausal. Although I understand her inner conflict at her age, I think she shouldn't let her problems get in the way of her job.
